Twitter Shout Outs Are Back OnlineTwitter Shout Outs are working again. After a great effort from the team at twitter.com, API requests are now working normally. That means that Champion Sound Shout Outs are working properly again for Facebook, Twitter and SMS (which was always working reliably).

Jamie set one of Jamie's replies as an official response to "credits" in Champion Sound
Jamie replied on July 10, 2009 14:55 to the question "credits" in Champion Sound:
Hi Alec,
"Credits" is our way of allowing Champion Sound users to send a mix of emails and SMS messages using the same pool of easy to understand currency.
One Credit = $0.01 or 500 Credits = $5.00
One email (sending one blast to one person) costs one Credit, and one SMS Shout Out (sending a 140 character message to one mobile phone) costs 5 Credits.
If you have 1000 credits, and an email blast that you want to send to 250 people, you'll have 750 credits remaining. If you then wanted to Shout Out this email to your followers on Twitter, Friends on Facebook and your lists with SMS numbers, you can then do that as well. Twitter and Facebook are free obviously, but the SMS messages will then cost you 5 Credits per phone number. So sending this email blast to 20 mobile phones will then cost an additional 100 credits.
Jamie replied on July 07, 2009 20:16 to the idea "Bounced Emails" in Champion Sound:
Hi Che,
we have actually implemented this idea, however you won't see the results of this "scraping" until a few days after the email has been sent.
In our email system, there are many reasons for a message being bounced (full mailbox on the user's end, temporary server outage, etc.) for a few days after your mailing has been sent, we try to redeliver bounced emails, and if that fails, they are marked as "permanently bounced."
Once an email address gets this status, it is moved to the "Bounced" section of your subscriber list and they are automatically filtered and are not sent to again. Once they have been moved to the "Bounced" section, you can delete them if you like.
