Jana replied on September 23, 2009 03:54 to the problem "Organizer cannot edit subgroups" in AirSet:
Hi Dave,
I've logged a bug for our engineering staff. I too can reproduce the odd behavior of some sub groups I am able to edit, yet others I am not -- even though I have full Organizer permissions.
So currently the only way to reliably manage sub-groups is to go via the Admin Dashboard, as Will outlines in his post.
Jana replied on September 23, 2009 03:27 to the problem "Sync setup not working w/outlook 2007" in AirSet:
Hi Ed,
Could you please send us Feedback (via the "Start Menu") with additional details on exactly what is not working, e.g. sync hangs, you're seeing error message, etc.
And we can try to help resolve the issue.
The Desktop Sync client should work fine with Outlook 2007 and the Vista environment. So perhaps it's an issue with your particular set up.
Jana replied on September 23, 2009 03:23 to the problem "Get too many Activity Feed notifications" in AirSet:
Hi Ruth Ann,
Go to your group's Cloud Computer Admin Dashboard (The gear icon in the lower right area of the navy task bar).
There are two areas to customize your Activity Notifications. The Default Activity Notifications for the group is located under "Options". There is also an overriding setting located in the light blue "Your Preferences" area of the dashboard.
Check that the settings in the "Your Preferences" panel is set to "Only events in which I participate".
If this doesn't work for you, send us Feedback via the "Start Menu".

Jana replied on August 14, 2009 19:58 to the question "Activity Feed on Our Web Page" in AirSet:
@Summiteer,
The Activity Feed gadget that can be inserted on a document in Web Publish is for logged in session use.
So putting the gadget on a web site will always prompt the viewer to sign in.
The gadget is more for an internal (logged in) website, called an intranet. Intranets are great for teams, groups, companies to host information and activity that is private to them.

Hi, just reading this thread and wanted to clarify for anyone who reads it that Heidi is asking about the cloud computer image that is visible when the Start menu is open.
Indeed, the Start menu itself can not be changed (color, type style, etc.), but just click the image in the upper right of the open menu to customize it.
Jana replied on July 06, 2009 21:13 to the question "How is it all connected?" in AirSet:
Hi Pat,
ACCESS:
Your Personal Cloud Computer is accessed by you only. The only way for anyone else to access it is if you give out your username and password.
You can create or join another Cloud Computer and have members who belong to that group Cloud Computer. Then any information create in that computer is accessible only by the members. Example: a Family Cloud Computer that as Jane, John, Bobby and Carol as members (each have their own Personal Cloud Computer and are members of this Family computer).
Calendar VERSUS Cloud Computer:
You Personal Calendar resides on your Personal Cloud Computer. The Personal Computer has a suite of applications: Calendar, Contacts, To-Do Lists, etc. Anything added in any of these applications is done on your Personal Computer. It just so happens that the data of your Personal Cloud Computer (i.e. Personal Calendar, Contacts, etc.) is stored securely and encrypted in the internet cloud.
EXTERNAL CALENDARS:
Getting a calendar into your Personal calendar is easy, you can import or create an iCal subscription or use Desktop Sync (pending on your external calendar).
Import: A one time need of getting an external calendar into AirSet and you can export that external calendar, then you can easily import a .csv or .iCal file in as a sub-calendar. (click here to read about Importing Calendars)
iCal Subscriptions: If you can create an iCal feed from the external calendar, then you can get it into AirSet. The subscription automatically syncs to the external calendar every 24 hours or you can manually refresh the Personal Calendar. Here is a link to how to set up Calendar iCal feeds (click here about iCal Subscriptions).
The alternative is if your external calendar is in Outlook, you can download the free AirSet Desktop Sync application. This is a two way syncing of the two calendars. The external calendar has to be an Outlook calendar. (click here for more about Desktop Sync)

Hi Christopher,
We are aware of the problem with Verizon and are looking into what has happened, i.e. why we seem to be missing from their application deck for a number of phones that we should be available for.
As soon as we get an answer, we'll post it on Get Satisfaction. Thanks for your patience as we try to find out what's going on.

Hi Andrea,
We answered your feedback email as well. But this certainly helps (having the screenshot here in your post).
niss63 is correct, when in doubt at what's going on, try a browser refresh/reload.
We do updates to the site occasionally that can require you to refresh. We try to keep these types of updates to a minimum (urgent bug fixes), so as not to impact our users. We apologize for the anxiety it caused.
Regards,
Jana
