A comment on the question "How can I send Qik videos to YouTube?" in Qik:
Why doesn't it work for the iPhone? Isn't it supposed to stream the same kind of video as the Nokia N-Series for example? That feature should be on the server side, not on the client as it isn't the one to send t recorded video to YouTube, but the server once the stream is done. I can't see why isn't it enabled for the iPhone, maybe because the device is so popular? That shouldn't be a limitant. Sorry, but I'm really disappointed about this. Thanks Jane...but running the 1.14 app just brought me back to the "Camera initializing" screen. So the 1.14 can't initialize the camera and the 1.25 doesn't even load the app and rotates the screen.
Guess I should give up on using Qik...too bad. It's a really great concept.
If you can think of anything else, please let me know.

I upgraded my XV6700 to WM6.1 and now at least this install shows up the sign up page. But it still quits unexpectedly. I have the logs from it, who do I send it to for analysis? – dantecl, on October 08, 2008 17:03

I did receive the SMS from Qik with the download link. Is that the SMS you're referring to?
I had been able to use Qik for a couple of weeks without any problems.
I recently downloaded the new version and now I don't even get to the Qik application screen. All the happens when I start the app is the screen rotates sideways and the app aborts the launch process.
Is there a way for me to load the older version 1.14?

Have you received an SMS from Qik which is actually the auto activation code
Send ur phone number to support@qik.com if you never got the message
