    I have tried everything on this thread and many others on the internet...
    Nothing has worked :( (except I have not changed the router itself...)

    I have Vista, IE8, chrome... my sister is having the same problem (XP, IE8), my mother in law is not (XP, IE7)

    Just noticed this problem since we have been at our cottage. Didn't have the problem before this...

    I have changed the MTU on my router and my computer (tried 1500, 1492, 1452, 1430, 1000... all based on different people saying it worked and that was the number that they used)

    I have verified the time zone on my computer
    I changed the time zone on my router

    I have cleared out all of the internet files, history, and cookies... with this, I can only login to LinkedIn, then nothing else. After that, I can't get back to it.

    I still need help... any other suggestions? I am wondering how people came up with the numbers for the MTU?? How do I know what would be optimal for my computer/router?
