Train Status reports via email or smsService that allows users to receive one-time or re-occurring train status reports via email or sms. Signing up for these reports should also be part of the online reservation process (or sign up separately). The current mobile site allows for a very limited version of this to happen - but usually doesn't work and doesn't work well.

Facebook Android AppPlease give us a Facebook Android app! With quite a few devices coming out this year, it is ridiculous that there isn't an app already. iPhone got their own app, where is ours?! Please?!

Yes, this is what they plan to do in the future, but they need to do some double tracking before that can happen. It would be great if they could send those trains down a little further each time they get more work done. In this case, Hayward should be the next step - they have a siding there already to get the trainset off the mainline, they should extend the trains down to their, then FMT next (that one is more difficult, but there is room for an additional siding I think just SW of the station, that would allow the trains to layover there without blocking the main).

Extend OAK-terminating trains to HaywardCurrently, several of the Capitol Corridor trains terminate on OAK (Oakland Colosseum) rather than OKJ (Oakland Jack London) - Train #'s 525, 526, 529, 531 and 533. It would be great if these trains could terminate in HAY (Hayward) instead. There is already a siding there in Hayward, with some additional improvements in the works. Perhaps service could slowly be increased along the route until all the scheduled improvements are completed, allowing for additional service to San Jose!
