Thanks for writing, Danette. I'm sorry that you're not able to see the results you are looking for - we'll look into this right away.
In a quick test, I was unable to duplicate what you are seeing. Can you tell us more about how it happened? Does it happen every time? Is the page fully-loaded when there are no visible festival names?
Any additional information you can provide will help us troubleshoot this. Thanks!

I'm very sorry to hear that you had this problem. Did you attempt to enter the event again? Were you successful?
We'll be sure to test the process right away to see if we can duplicate this issue. Any additional information that will help us recreate it is appreciated.
The events area of wimgo is undergoing an overhaul in the coming weeks and a major part of this is improving it's ease of use. So we appreciate your feedback and welcome any ideas for making it better. Bear with us as we work to make wimgo the best it can be.

Jason replied on May 04, 2009 02:34 to the problem "site slow to load" in Wimgo:
I'm sorry to hear that wimgo is loading slow for you, jfox. Is there any particular page or section that seems to load slowly or is it generally slow?
Can you tell me about your computer, browser, and internet connection? Perhaps there is a certain time of day or week that you find wimgo to work more slowly? This information could help us troubleshoot the issue.
Jason replied on May 04, 2009 02:29 to the idea "Digg like interface for events" in Wimgo:
Great idea, Phil. Thanks for the suggestion!
In the coming weeks we'll be releasing updated functionality for our events system and we're considering several ideas like this so your suggestion comes at a great time.
You can get a preview of some of these types of functions by aviewing restaurant listings in the new wimgo restaurants section.
You'll notice that star ratings, comments, and media uploads are all a big part of that section and many of those features will be coming to events as well.
Thanks again for using wimgo and keep your eyes peeled for upcoming releases.
Jason replied on May 04, 2009 02:16 to the idea "Remove the non-event clutter" in Wimgo:
You make a good point, Matthew.
Many of wimgo events are submitted by people and organizations all over Oklahoma so there are some that slip through that are sort of fudging on the definition of an "event".
We'll look into some ways to encourage people to keep their submissions on-topic. As a user, you have the power to object to events like you've mentioned by using the "Report as inaccurate" link on every event page. That's your way to tell us and the event submitter that it's not the type of content that you expect on wimgo.
In the near future, we'll be adding some new features to the events section that will allow you to further filter search results to give you information that better matches your needs.
Jason replied on May 04, 2009 02:09 to the idea "More "Locations" options" in Wimgo:
Thanks for the suggestion, Matthew. A revamp of our events system is in the works. In fact you can see a preview of just what you're asking for by browsing our new restaurants section. You'll notice on the left side of this page that you can further filter the results based on districts such as "Bricktown", "Memorial", and "Route 66".
In the coming weeks we'll be adding this feature to our events listings as well.
Thanks again for writing and using wimgo!
A comment on the idea "Listing closed restaurants" in Wimgo:
Sorry Crystal, I thought I replied to this. In addition to what Jay said, I think the main issue is making sure it really is closed before we remove it. The closed information could come from our data provider or from a customer tip - either way I would hope that we'll verify a business is really gone before we remove it. – Jason, on April 21, 2009 13:57
Jason replied on April 21, 2009 13:22 to the question "Wimgo?" in Wimgo:
WimgoTM is intended to be THE place that people check before they head out the door to check "Where I'm going", "When I'm going", and "What I'm doing".
I believe the faces of the cube were originally intended to represent these facets of the site, though that visual metaphor is not represented in the current version.
Jason replied on April 20, 2009 18:43 to the question "Restaurant review cut off?" in Wimgo:
I'm not sure if or what the character limit is, but looking at where it is cut off you shouldn't have been anywhere near it.
More than likely this was an issue with the paste from MS Word. If you're going to compose your review in Word, I'd suggest you first paste your content in a text-only editor like Notepad which will strip any of the formatting (it won't show here anyway) from the content, then you can copy/paste from Notepad into your browser.
Word adds a lot of hidden formatting that is not particularly compatible with web browsers so this is a common pain point - not just in Wimgo.
Jason replied on April 17, 2009 21:08 to the idea "Search sort by location? Help?" in Wimgo:
You sure can. When viewing the results of your search, you'll see a list of filters on the left side of the screen. Click one to show only the results that match your filter from the list of results. Not only can you filter by location, but also cuisine, price and district.
Take a look at the screenshot below. I searched for "American" food, but it returned over 600 results. But let's say I live in Edmond, I could click that filter to see only the results near me.

That said, it sound like you'd want Wimgo to remember this setting? Right now it knows you are in the Oklahoma City area, but I could see remembering to apply the "Edmond" tag in future results automatically with the option to remove. I like that idea.-

Jason replied on April 17, 2009 20:28 to the idea "Listing closed restaurants" in Wimgo:
We're working on removing incorrect data from our listings as quickly as we can. In the case of a closed business, we'll need to be cautious so that we certain a business is closed before it is completely removed. However, we'll soon be implementing a visual style that will better differentiate closed businesses.
Thanks for your suggestion, Julie!
Here's a screenshot of what that will look like:
