Jason asked a question in Delicious Monster on June 12, 2009 17:34:
iPhone App Layout, needs bigger cover & title info.Overall, I love the look and feel of the iPhone App, the wi-fi sync works brilliantly!
I have a major gripe though: The two most important pieces of information -in my opinion- that I need to see on the app are the cover image and the title. And in the "coverflow" view, these are the smallest pieces of info in the card.
I see three possibilites to deal with this:
1. Increase the height of the title bar in each coverflow card to allow a bigger cover and more room for the title.
2. Allow a landscape view of the cards?
3. Do a similiar graphic as Apple's coverflow in iTunes, where a tap would flip the card to have a full image of the book/dvd/cd cover on one side, and info on the other.
When flipping through looking for a movie, I really find a bigger image of the cover most useful.
Other than this, I love the stability and the overall graphics.

will dejumble work with iphone 3.0?I know, I know. Probably not...but I'm still using dejumble because I don't want to move everything over...but is iPhone 3.0 going to finally kill it (since "thinking code") has completely dropped its support?

"State of DL2 and iPhone App??"If not too much trouble, could Delicious Monster post a quick "State of DL2 update and iPhone app" We're all wondering about both, and maybe a quick line or two about release dates would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm with you.
Its not a very good customer experience to feel screwed over.
Why did I buy the desktop version on MacZot for? Did I intend to pay for a product to come out 9 months later? Does it really take 9 months MORE to get this working?
I would be happy to just have the current product be stable. They should give me something for the money I've given them.

So, what is going on?
The server has been up since yesterday, my iPhone and desktop are syncing. That hasn't happened in quite awhile.
Did someone accidently hit the power switch on the sync server before leaving town?
If "Thinking Code" is still alive. Just say so, if not, just say so. You've gotten our money. Stop screwing with us, and let us know what is up.

I'll take one last stab. Does this company even exist anymore? The server doesn't work, my iPhone and desktop app haven't synced in a couple of weeks, there is no participation from Thinking Code on this website. If dejumble still exists, or plans on it in the future, how about making the effort and letting us know? It can't be that hard for you to do.

I have to say, the tighter integration of the iPhone & Desktop App is welcome. But I do prefer the original graphics, in particular the darker grays, and how each task is in its own bubble, rather than just the line separating each task. I also have always really appreciated the graphic of the original check-mark in the circle of the completed task. I think its a bit more graceful than the chamfered boxes you show in the new version.

I've been having intermittent syncing problems as well. Its getting really, really old.
This product is not stable, and is heading towards being un-useful. I know you guys are working on 2.0, but really, you have to stabilize the current product, ASAP!
I've have been patient for months now.
Make this product work consistently, and please do it now. I'm tired of spending time losing my lists because they don't sync. Its costing me more time than saving.-

Well, that didn't last long.
My iPhone app does not snyc (i've tried the full log-out, didn't work). The phone dial just keeps spinning without end, but doesn't sync.
neither of my two computers are syncing either.
Because everything had been working for awhile, I started entering info in all three sources (2 computers & phone) but since nothing is working, I now have three different lists.
Very frustrating.

I can't believe it. But it is actually working. I'm using b22 desktop on two computers, and the latest iPhone app, and everything is syncing! I've created groups and tasks on all three locations, and all sync.
Very nice.
A suggestion for the iPhone App. I would like to either have an additional Smart Group "tomorrow" or the ability to create Smart Groups in the start-up screen for the iPhone App.
Jason replied on October 08, 2008 15:40 to the question "Sync not working-Fixes not Fixing" in Thinking Code Software Inc.:
For me, the syncing is improved, but it is not yet 100%. Some groups from iPhone have not appeared in the desktop version. Also, a random number of tasks over different groups, are not syncing. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between when I created the task, when it is due, priority, etc... most appear on the desktop, but some don't.
I'm using the 1.2.1 iPhone version (I think, even though it says 1.2.0) and the beta21 desktop version.

Allan,
I've downloaded 19 beta 2. The desktop version is only syncing my 3 most recent groups. I wonder....
I have about 10 groups created on my iPhone. The 3 most current, I've created after the release of beta 19, and after I've signed up to the server. The other 7 groups I created weeks ago on the iPhone. Could this be a factor in them not syncing?
The duplicate groups that were being created in 19 beta 1 have stopped. Sot thats great.
Thanks.
