madthoughts reported a problem in Tumblr on December 13, 2009 03:49:
Keyword searches are not quite exact. When I do a search for avengers, the majority of the results have "avenged".
madthoughts replied on December 10, 2009 21:12 to the problem "Bookmark Keywords Removed from Firefox Bookmarks" in Xmarks:
I erased what as local and pulled directly from the server. The problem occurred today, when I opened Firefox at work and it sync'd with what would have been my last set of Chrome bookmarks.
Let me try to map it:
1. Work Firefox bookmarks uploaded to server.
2. Home chrome erases local, replaces with FF bookmarks.
3. Chrome syncs to server.
3. Work Chrome erases local, replaces server.
4. Work Firefox syncs with server.
5. No tags (and strangely no Favicons either. I use Smart Bookmarks bar, and nearly all of my favicons were erased.)
Firefox's built in restore function worked AMAZINGLY!

How about a WebOS app?Yeah, that's about it. I have a Palm Pre and would to see a dedicated app created for it. Or perhaps a dashboard URL designed for all mobile devices, not just the iphone. How about /dashboard/mobile?-

I frequently get time out errors or hanging pages while using Tumblr. It doesn't seem to matter the browser or the activity (dashboard posting, bookmarklet posting, rebloging, etc.), but I often find myself refreshing pages or waiting long load times. Is Tumblr aware of these types of issues? How do you plan to improve/fix them?
A comment on the question "Is there an application for the Palm Pre in the works??" in foursquare:
This is exciting. Looks good so far. I'm setup for homebrew so I'd be wiling to help test. – madthoughts, on November 02, 2009 19:31
A comment on the problem "Feedly start page redirects to google" in Feedly:
I'm having the same issue as you Vir. I've found that I can still access Feedly when in Firefox's private browsing mode, but no matter how many times I clear my cookies, history, and cache, I can't get a successful login in normal browsing mode. – madthoughts, on September 13, 2009 17:19-

I was able to solve the problem by switching to Firefox's Weave instead. http://labs.mozilla.com/blog/2007/12/introducing-weave
madthoughts replied on August 23, 2009 21:28 to the question "Comment boxes appear open for every post on page load." in JS-Kit:
I'd like to have the 'leave a comment' form closed by default. I have that option unchecked in settings.
This isn't happening on my "real" website. Its happening on the testing Tumblr blog I use to play with my theme. http://madthoughtstest.tumblr.com/.
Could that be the problem? I'm using the JS-Kit code for my real site (madthoughts.net) on my testing site?
