Jason Christensen replied on September 09, 2009 15:17 to the question "Standard Definition Resolution - what is it?" in Motionbox:
Art,
No, your resolution should remain the same for a 640x360 video. If you'd like, you can always try to upload one. ;-) If things don't come out the way you want, we'll be right here ready to assist you further! Remember, it's always a learning experience for us, too!
Best regards,
Jason C.

How come others aren't able to view or play back my video? You can use the share email function on any of your video pages to share easily. If you are trying to share a video URL directly, please note this can only work for "open access" videos.
On your video's play page, you can change your video privacy at any time by selecting the blue "change" option just below your video. Please keep in mind that if you have already shared your video and then change its privacy, the previous link they have received may no longer work!
For more detailed instruction on privacy settings, see our Privacy and Permissions Help topic.
If permissions settings are correct and it is a playback problem, they may need to instead update their Mozilla Firefox or Safari browsers and Flash. More detail on this is found in our Help section under Playing Videos.

How do I share my videos?A few options:
1. Simply add your username to the end of http://www.motionbox.com/profiles/[username] and share your open access videos on your profile page. Please keep in mind private videos will not show up on your profile page when you share this URL and protected videos will only appear for your contacts.
2. If your videos are all protected, however, add the new Motionbox member as your contact and she/he as yours - this way they will always have access to your videos and vice-versa. Whenever one of you login to Motionbox, you will see each other's protected or open access videos.
3. Share your video with any privacy by clicking on the email share function on your video's play page itself. You can also go back to the folder and choose to share the entire folder of videos.

What can I do if I can't verify my account and sign in?You should have received a verification email when you opened your Motionbox membership. This email will contain a link to verify your account - sometimes if it is not clickable you may want to cut and paste it into your browser window. Once your account is verified, you can sign in to your account. Feel free to contact us if you are still not able to login to your account.

Why should I pay for a Premium membership when I can have a Basic membership for free?Sometimes folks have a lot of video they want to store safely or they don't want to be limited by the size of the video they can upload. Premium membership gives you both of these, plus the highest-quality playback in HD and download capabilities for you and your friends. It's easy to sign up for our Basic membership and get an introduction to what Motionbox has to offer. Keep in mind our cancellation policy is that if you upgrade to Premium and don't love everything Premium has to offer, simply contact Support within 14 days of your upgrade.

What if my video failed encoding or processing? There may be a variety of reasons your video may not process. It may be that you need to convert your video to a format that is compatible with Motionbox. Sometimes, due to internet connection speeds or amount of traffic in the queue ahead of your video, it may look like it's not working, but in fact, it is just taking longer than anticipated to process. If you have given your video some time to process and it does fail, check out our Help article Troubleshooting processing problems.

What if my video won't upload? We have two great uploader options, so if our standard web uploader doesn't work for your video, do try out the Motionbox Express Uploader. You can learn more about your upload options with our current Uploading 101 article as well. Feel free to contact us if you are still not able to upload -- do take note of any upload error you receive, and let us know your file size and format.

A Premium account has up to 500 plays per video or 5,000 per account.
