Attempt to Sync with GMail led to complete wipe of contacts; Backups failedI spent quite a while cleaning out my contacts in soocial and had them looking quite good. Then, earlier today, I downloaded three backups, one from Gmail and two from soocial. I then wiped my gmail contact list and set up a sync job to bring in my nice clean soocial contact list. This instead wiped out the soocial list and left me with nothing. Then, to my chagrin, I realized that the backups I had downloaded were way out of date for some reason. Is there a way to get at my contact list from last night? Damn that list looked good. =(-

I keep hitting the dedupe button but nothing happens. It says it's going to run in the background, but I still have the same total # of contacts and soocial still says I have dupes. What am I doing wrong? -

Webapp is running a lot faster now!It was pretty slow the past few days, but loading/wait times are way lower today. Not sure what the reason is but thank you! -

Okay, cool. Glad to hear that you're on top of it - I'm looking forward to seeing what the overhauled site looks like. Is there an alternative way to manage contacts through soocial besides the webapp (e.g. something downloadable)?

shift+click to select ranges of contactsI want to select huge numbers of contacts to delete them (specifically everybody labeled as "unknown"). Either of two features would let me do this:
1) Shift+click to select a range of contacts. In other words, clicking the first contact in the contiguous range I want to select then holding shift and clicking the last contact in the list should select those two contacts and every contact in between.
2) Allowing searches for "unknown". Right now a search for "unknown" does not return any results even though I have 1000+ "unknown" contacts. This is because it's searching the actual fields in the contacts and not the label soocial gives the contacts.
Regardless this site is awesome and does almost everything I want it to. Thanks!

Okay I've learned a little more about what's going on. Some kind of synchronization happened, as Gmail's contacts list now includes my phone numbers. However, neither Gmail nor soocial show any of my email contacts - Gmail just has raw email addresses without names.
I'll try restoring from a backup later today to see if that helps. I'm not sure why it cleaned out all my email contacts though. -

Gmail contacts are not being added to soocialI just signed up for Soocial since it looks like a great way to manage my contacts across gmail and my phone. I got Soocial to read in my phone contacts (by reading them into outlook) but now it's not retrieving any data from Google. I don't appear to have any email addresses and people who I know I have both a phone number (on my phone) and an email (in Gmail) for only have phone numbers. I assume I'm doing something wrong, but I can't find any way to alter the settings Soocial uses to sync with Gmail. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Regardless this is an absolutely awesome idea for a product and I appreciate being able to test it. Contact management is a bitch. Here's hoping you guys get it working smoothly for most people and are able to make some $$$.
