Jason Silver replied on October 27, 2009 00:51 to the problem "Silence switch details" in Aha Mobile:
Hi Derek,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I happen to use Aha on my daily commute while listening to podcasts, and find I HAVE to keep the ringer switch in the "on" position, otherwise I won't hear anything! (Unlike the iPod application, which would allow music to play).
I'll talk to the team and see if we can change this behavior in a future release.
When the ringer switch is in silent and you're in Aha, what sounds would you expect to hear besides music? Shouts? Sound effects? (I'd think that shouts are pretty central to our application and should play regardless of the switch, but I'd love to hear your opinion on other effects in the app).
Again, thanks for helping us out by reporting this!

Hi Ray,
Currently, we are focused on mobile devices that have GPS functionality and data connectivity. However, it's great that there are users out there who want this for the iPod Touch! We'll certainly look into how feasible it is to bring particular features onto the iPod. However, this would probably be after we target some other handsets.
Keep checking back, and thanks for reaching out!

Hi James,
We'd like to get more information from you to understand how the issue occurred. Did you have a guest account, then register, and are now seeing the "guest" information again?
Is this happening during the same application launch, or only when you relaunch? Also, if you could give us your guest account name and registered name, that would probably help the team. Thanks for trying us out!
Jason Silver replied on August 19, 2009 00:15 to the question "Layered canvases: links on top canvas also passing through to lower canvas?" in Napkee:
Jason Silver asked a question in Napkee on August 18, 2009 23:02:
Layered canvases: links on top canvas also passing through to lower canvas?Hi Enrico,
I'm trying to mock up a log in screen on a website where the login credentials appear in a canvas over the website itself. So, there are always at least two layers: the website, and the pop-up box. When the pop-up box is active, I am adding a shading canvas between the website and the pop-up box to "dim out" the website.
Anyhow,I was testing a couple of different interaction methods to "dismiss" the popup and return to the website if the user did not want to login. One of the methods was to simply click anywhere outside of the pop-up box. This would cause the shading to disappear and the website would be back in focus. So, I set a link on the shading layer to cause Balsamiq to return to the home page. The problem is that this seems to also capture any mouse clicks that I am doing in the login box too. So, when I try to click in a text field to enter my credentials, the entire login field dismisses and I'm back to the home screen. Is this a problem with Balsamiq or Napkee (or am I doing something wrong?) :)
Thank you for your help!
