It won't update immediately - the status will be updated the next time twitterfeed tries to post your feed to twitter, so depending on your frequency settings I'd give it at least an hour (obviously more if you set it to post less frequently).

Tried this - when I test RSS feed it says it paresed successfully. But the triangle persists and if I hover over it I get the same message "cannot parse this feed".

I don't think twitterfeed handles the feed: protocol. Try http://gdiapers.typepad.com/earlyyear... instead.

I hover and it tells me it "cannot parse this feed, pls check the URL is valid". It is I promise! My username for Twitter is jasongn. My URL Feed is feed://gdiapers.typepad.com/earlyyears/atom.xml.

When you hover over the icon, it should show you some more detailed error message. If that doesn't help, let me know your twitter username or the feed URL and I'll take a look.

You need to enter the URL of the RSS feed, not the blog itself. In your case, one that should work is your Atom feed at http://gdiapers.typepad.com/earlyyear...
