FiftyStars,
Sorry for the delay, this may be due to a scripting error. Please install the below to resolve your issue:

A comment on the problem "thunderbird unable to send email" in Sunbelt Software:
Mostinc,
I will bring this up to development. It seems like we may need to add in another option for people who have an SSL account and non-SSL account through the same email client.

JJS,
We are in the process of testing this out. However if you wanted to send us a video, you can send it to support@sunbelt-software.com and we'll check it out. Just put Attn: Jason Layman in the subject line.
Thanks,

A comment on the question "With VIPRE installed laptop comes out of hibernation and starts up by itself" in Sunbelt Software:
Alan,
This is something I have suggested a few times. I'll see what we can do about changing some of these settings around. We just need enough people backing up this idea. ;)

A comment on the question "With VIPRE installed laptop comes out of hibernation and starts up by itself" in Sunbelt Software:
Edward,
If you have the 'Wake from sleep on scheduled scans' option enabled, it will wake your computer from any form of unconscious state to run a scheduled scan. For desktop computers, VIPRE will wake the computer for updates, then return it to it's previous state no matter what this option is set at. For laptops, it will disable the scheduled scans as well as the updates if you have the second option enabled. I'll see what we can do about phrasing this better, or explaining it differently.

Niall,
I'm glad VIPRE is working better for you now. Sorry about the time it took to get the hibernation issues resolved and the trouble it has caused. The software update will roll around to you eventually. The reason why we don't update everyone all at once is so we don't end up locking up our servers with everyone connecting at the same time.

Usually a 1720 error points to some sort of scripting problem. In this case a custom action which is run by VB. Are you running Windows XP or Vista?
If you are running XP then go to the following Microsoft site to make sure you are up to date with VB Scripting. http://tinyurl.com/yu4xkf
If you are on Vista, run the below batch file to enable VB scripting. http://apollo.sunbelt-software.com/ih...

JJS,
Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much we can do about this at the moment, but I'll let development know. VIPRE will have to go through its regular checks when you open any file. Naturally, large files are going to take longer. However, we'll see what we can do about improving this.

Mksql,
The update should take care of the email issues and I haven't see any delays in the definitions updates as of yet. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the full change log at the moment. I'll send up a suggestion to see if we can get that added to either the program itself or on the web site.
