I am having the same problem. My 3g is reception is at a full 5bars and still spikes up and down with the stream. Also I noticed when the 3g is off and I use Edge or Wifi it works flawlessly. But kick 3g back on and your looking at a 1-3second clip, even after buffer is completely done. I tried using another service simular to this(won't mention any names) and was impressed with the lack of bugs it has. It worked flawlessly with 3g, wifi or edge on. So Please qik, fix it. I'm running version 3.16 and it is still doing it. Until then I know where I'll be streaming my Flix ;-)

iPhone Buffering and Random Problems with 0.3.16I don't understand the buffering part of the new iPhone app. If it buffers, doesn't it make it less live? Also its a real pain to have to sit and wait for the video to flush the buffer when your done recording. I'm wondering why you thought this was better than your previous version that didn't seem to buffer. Also, the bit rate that it streams at in the new app doesn't seem to be as consistently high as the old one. It seems to peak high and then low over and over again resulting in the video on the site to freeze for seconds to minutes. Just wondering if you have experienced any of these problems. I love the new features like the twitter notification and the location part too, so I would like to keep using the new apps instead of downgrading to the old version again. Thanks, Keep up the good work.

I updated to the new software on my Blackjack II and the video that gets uploaded is missing the last seconds (basically, whatever the delay was).
This is even after I wait for the video to get pushed out to the server (when the delay reaches 0:00).
I know this thread is for the iPhone 3G, but it's a related problem...Thanks!

Hey everyone,
Looks like there are definitely some issues with this version. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We're working on fixing this right now.
For those of you who know to access your iPhone's file system, you can always revert back by:
- Removing /Applications/Qik.app
- Extracting the Qik.app found in this zip file (http://qik.com/Qik.zip)
- Replacing the new Qik.app into the /Applications directory on your iPhone
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience - There will be a fix for this soon if you'd like to just hang tight.
Cheers.

The buffering thing doesn't seem to work. Qik worked perfect before I updated to the new iPhone 0.3.10. Now it seems to lose connection all the time and the kbps stream goes from great to 0 then great to 0. Before it was a nice steady stream at arounrd 180kbps. If it buffers so much does that mean its not showing LIVE video on the website? Also, when I was using it there was full service and full 3g.
