Flickr integration please!!

I know 8020 has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes however, my #1 request would be the ability to import pictures from Flickr to JPG. That is probably my number barrier to uploading more pictures.

BTW on a separate note. I do not see a way to show all the pictures that have had recent comments aka Flickr Recent Activity. This would be very useful.

1. Ajax autofill of location is too slow and jerky leading to multiple attempts before getting the correct location.

2. Geonames accuracy is still not quite there. My home location of San Mateo, CA is not available as an option.

Import iCal information?

Working for a consulting firm, most of my colleagues and I travel an immense amount. Certainly something like Dopplr is very useful in this line of work.

What would be great would be the ability to import iCal information or any other method of easing the import/update process.

BTW I'm out of invites.. would love to give out more. Hint hint. =)

Re Biz's post about this, my suggestion and hence a feature request would be to add a setting to expose replies to the public if desired.

Therefore, Person A could follow "newslet" and Person B could twitter a message @newlet and subsequently one could then tune in to Person B twitters for the duration of the news event.

What do you think?

PS. This is obviously a hackish way of accomplishing things. Use of a bot here could do more.

I just noticed this but the search box does not seem to appear for all the pages. Might I suggest that search be included on all pages?

For instance. on my dashboard page, I do not see the search box

Scott, good to know that you plan to address it. In the short term, you might want to consider just adding pagination as that is usually fairly easy to add and probably reduce your load by quite a bit.

This is a really cool concept but I think there are some typical growing pains.

I would second/third the request for search. It's usually one of the first features I look for when signing up to a new site.

Additionally, it would be great to enable pagination for the companies. It's already becoming unwieldy to sort through companies. I would also be interested in understanding how you plan to deal with namespace collisions.

On the plus side, I like the general look and feel.
