A comment on the idea "Automatically copy shared URL to clipboard" in plasq:
aggiejy: If you upload via FTP, you get a "Copy Link" button instead of a button to visit the image. With Skitch.com, you *have* to visit Skitch.com to get the url. I admit, I didn't see the part about automatically copying it — that'd be nice too. Sorry about my skim-reading. :P – Chris Thomson, on October 03, 2008 20:44
A comment on the idea "Automatically copy shared URL to clipboard" in plasq:
I'm not sure exactly who you're talking to? The stated issue is that the url doesn't go directly to the clipboard. This issue is there regardless of if you use FTP or Skitch.com to host you image. I think it should work the exact same as it does now, but where you just don't have to click the button once to upload, and again to copy the url. – aggiejy, on October 03, 2008 20:07

A comment on the idea "Automatically copy shared URL to clipboard" in plasq:
Good point, but then you don't have the commenting. Of course, you *could* always set up a system on your own server, but then you wouldn't have image commenting without a lot more work. I wish Skitch.com would just add this as a preference. – Chris Thomson, on October 03, 2008 19:41

I've been using taskdata, a new app available on itunes. It'll let you add/edit/delete tasks that will sync wirelessly to your Microsoft Outlook.

Hmm, uhm... There has been at least something on the iPhone for To Do's, and hardly anybody ever mentions it.
If you check the mailboxes on the iPhone, there is one named "Apple Mail To Do" with To Do's from Apple's Mail app. Unfortunately, there does seem to be an issue with reading the content of the To Do's.
raiglstorfer replied on September 28, 2008 23:20 to the problem "Randomly dropping WIFI connection" in Apple:
I am having that same problem. I have an all Mac network, Airport Extreme (n) Mac Pro, Mac Air, and a Powerbook. My wireless network is always 3 to 4 bars but occationally I effectively look all connectivity. Its not an issue with my cable provider because the local network is dead ... so it MUST be an issue with the wireless. When the error occurs the light on the Airport is green and all lights on the Cable modem are as they should be.
I can only guess that this is a software issue since it occurs on radically different hardware (MacPro, MacbookAir, and Powerbook). I seem to see the issue more since the latest Security Update ... but I can't confirm this.
I'll also try the suggestion to drop the config and recreate it and see if it helps. It just seems odd that its so pervasive. Granted, I keep all our home machines current with new code updates so perhaps that is the cause.

Things for iPhone or Remember the milk for iPhone will both solve this irritating issue until Apple deigns to address it.
Eridanus replied on September 13, 2008 12:38 to the idea "Allow special characters to track" in Twitter:
Twitter's track command has been of line for months (though we've been promised that it will return some day).
In the meantime, Twitter user @RyanK has written TweetTrak, which converts selected tweets (i.e. those containing keywords of your choice) into direct messages sent to you, though there is a time delay.
If you follow http://twitter.com/TweetTrak it will follow you back and is then ready for use.
TweetTrak differs in some ways from Twitter's track command, and may fulfil some of your needs.
TweetTrak is not currently in full working order, but @RyanK and Twitter are trying hard to resolve this.
