That isn't really what I meant. What if an OpenID ceases to be valid (particularly an issue with delegation)? You really want to have two types of error in the OpenID process: known transient and unknown. Timeout is a known transient. I'm not sure if there are any others, so it might be easier to just catch timeout separately and have a message for that.

How can I make upcoming calendar entries not appear as flights?Upcoming calendar entries for things in London often don't appear as "London" (which is admittedly Upcoming's fault), but make a deeper issue obvious. The following trip was added automatically from my upcoming feed:
http://www.dopplr.com/trip/jaylett/53...
It is for the upcoming event:
http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/1457263
which upcoming thinks is in New Maldon, for reasons that will no doubt become obvious around the time of the Rapture. This isn't terribly relevant: what is is that Dopplr thinks I travelled there by plane.
Really, I want Dopplr to assume I travel by train to anywhere I don't add an explicit trip for, since that is most likely to be correct. In theory, I suppose, it could guess that I'm unlikely to travel by train to Moscow (although it's a toss-up for Paris or Brussels). I can't find an option that governs this, so I'm assuming there's either some magic or a system-wide default.
(It'd be nice if Dopplr let me know when it auto-added a trip on my behalf, so I can check it for accuracy. Again, there doesn't appear to be an option for this.)

Why does OpenID login sometimes claim I've input an invalid OpenID?Sometimes, when I try to log in with OpenID, I get an error saying it's invalid. Then I try again, and it works. The error message is incorrect and should instead say "we're having temporary problems with your OpenID, why not try again shortly?" or something.
I *assume* that what's happening is an HTTP timeout somewhere inside GetSatisfaction (because it's easiest to treat this the same as an HTTP error).

Does "Don't show me this title again?" mean I'm rating it as 0?Under "rate this" for a title, there's an option marked "don't show me this title again". I want to do this in the case where I've already seen something (but not via Lovefilm) and don't particularly want to watch it again; however I may have liked it. The interface suggests any rating I give it will subsequently be ignored, which is certainly not what I want.

Why do you recommend things already on my rental queue? If I go to the recommendations hot list right now, four of the titles are already in my rental queue. To be fair to you, that makes them good recommendations; to be fair to me, they're a waste of space. It's not that this is a huge problem per se, but it definitely means I'm less likely to look at the suggestions.

Can't account creation-via-openid be made simpler? Why is creating an account with openid slower than creating an account without? I seem to have just been driven through the entire signup process, including email confirmation, which strikes me as overkill. Perhaps I've just been coddled by how easy stackoverflow.com makes this.
