I ended up having to delete my whole master loopt profile on loopt.com and start over from scratch. There goes all my connections and friends just to fix this. oh well

I followed this on how to delete my account:

"You can delete your account without downloading Loopt again. Go to http:/support.loopt.com on your computer and choose the Cancel option. It will let you delete your Loopt account as long as you have the phone with you."

I re-registered with my correct birthday via loopt.com on a pc. I uninstalled Loopt from my iphone. I uninstalled Loopt mix from my iphone. I reinstalled Loopt on my iphone. I reinstalled Loopt Mix on my iphone. Loopt Mix app said it noticed I used Loopt Mix on this device before and wanted to know if I should skip this for now or use the old one. I picked skip for now. I filled in a new profile, used the same email to register etc. After all this, my WRONG age still shows up? What do I need to do to fully flush this out? Do I need to register under a new email address? Will my old profile float there forever too? I dont want two of me in the same location forever that would be confusing! :( suggestions? I'm going to try to blank out my old profile and use a whole new email address I guess

I too really want to see my google contact groups show up on my iPhone contacts (groups). It would be nice to see groups linked into outlook groups as well (or catagories as they are called). I pay for google apps premium even for the outlook mapi sync. It should be possible to sync contact groups in future updates I hope.

Also it really sucks that google voice contacts/calendar can't be linked to your google apps contacts/calendar

How do you update your age so its' correct? I don't where I can update my birthday/age on either the iphone or on your loopt web site.

Do you guys have access to the new 3.0 SDK? Hopefully you'll know what they mean by video/audio streaming support. Let's hope Apple finally allowed enough control of the Camera this time to work with Qik natively!

Will the new iPhone 3.0 OS/SDK video API let qik be released in the normal Apple appstore this Summer 2009? The following sound promsing. Someone replied to my complaint about no Video recording feature in a post I made on Engadget. They have a good point. (sounds promising, maybe?)

"A video recorder app might be possible with the new API. There was mention of video/audio streaming. A video recorder is not currently possible because the API doesnt give enough control over the camera functions. You might actually find a video recorder on the app store soon."

Yes, I have a few contacts that are tele-conference numbers that have pause commands before the code is entered in automatically. I hope 1.1 is much better for over all reliability because mymyi.com gave flutter an aweful review of the 1.0 launch. If it's good to go, hopefully they will re-edit the part that says "UPDATE: Its mostly ****. Read my edit at bottom of thread."

I guess I have too many contacts. (1200+) It sucks that you enter the recipient by name. Since this app makes you scroll through your entire list, by the time I finger scroll through half way down, the app totally crashes/exits every time. (lame!) This is NOT easy to use at all, not impressed with 1.0 Will 1.1 address this show stopper?

The latest Trillian Astra added facebook support. When you set your away message in Trillian you can have it set your facebook status message to be the same. They have a tone of fun options. Trillian also has a myspace plugin but it's for chat onlyh so far. Hopefully ping link it the other way around so I can update everything else (myspace etc) all at once. I know an iphone app is on the way, perfect. I'll mostly be setting updates vis iphone anyway
