More than 60 percent of the catalogue is available in High Bitrate, and since it's done according to popularity almost everything people listen to should be covered. I saw some stats that appr. 70 percent of the tracks in Spotify have been played at least once. Also, all new additions are available in high bitrate.

The album was perhaps added a little bit too early by mistake. Official release date is on Monday. Sometimes an album has an early release date in just one country. Not ideal and the labels should try to avoid that.

I can understand your frustration and I agree with most of your points.

I think the fastest way to solve this is to contact the label and make them send a replacement. It's obvious that fixing some corrupt tracks out of 6 million is not a priority for Spotify at the moment and that's why it should be faster to go via the labels.

As for the "one thread" suggestion I would say it is much easier to have similar problems in on thread rather than 20. I guess we have to agree to disagree on that one. – JB, on November 04, 2009 16:28

I think it will be easier for everyone if you used just one thread for all your finds.

Problem is that these flaws probably exist on the original files sent to Spotify. The solution therefore would be for the label to resend a good version of the track and/or album.

Since it is monthly, the only way to get "your own" date is to cancel your current subscription and then start again from the date of your choice.
