A comment on the problem "problems after system upgrade" in Buxfer:
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. For everyone that uses Buxfer and has to manually enter transactions, it takes three more steps for me as I have to keep going back and forth to see if I have already entered something when I use to be able to see it right there. The other money management programs all have adding abilities right in the account. How come every time you change something it just makes the function more difficult? I'm really to the point where I'm ready to just move to Quicken online as they are planning to add manual entry for accounts and it's free. I'm paying for Buxfer and It seems like you get rid of everything I like about your program. – JB, on October 25, 2009 16:30-

I like the budget tab at the top for a few reasons. When in my checking account, it's much easier to click the budget tab at the top to see the budget page rather than having to click on summary, then budget to see it. So I guess one click rather than two is more convenient. Second, the budget area on the left doesn't really show me what I want to see. I want to see the progression line through out the month as well as where I'm at. The budget on the left is just to small to read without my reading glasses on. If the budget summary page was as big as Mints it wouldn't be such a big deal. Third, when I click on budget from the summary page, the budget tab miraculously appears at the top again anyway, so why not just leave it there for the people who like it. I do miss the convenience of it but if their were many people complaining about it then I can live without it. One of the things I liked about Buxfer was the ease and usability of the Budget area.
A comment on the question "Priority Support" in Buxfer:
I couldn't agree more. I wish Buxfer would work on just getting everything they already have working correctly and then worry about adding new stuff. It's a good product, but it could be great. – JB, on July 11, 2009 15:11

Budget Overall Spending From One Account.Is there a way to have the budget only track overall spending from one account? I only want my budget to track the overall spending of one checking account. Is this possible or can it be made so that it can? Thanks.-

Accounts not staying in catagories.When I change my savings accounts to savings to put them in the savings column it doesn't stay there. I save it and it's there but the next day when I log in everything is under checking again. Can you fix this so when I save it in savings it stays there the next day?
