Good question. But hard to answer, especially since I am not you. Coming up with a cool and useful app idea is way harder than building it using zembly. At least that's our goal here.

Here is a suggestion on how to go about this: Get together with a few people on your friends' list with whom you share some interests. Come up with a list of this you'd like to see about / do with one another as you visit to your social network's home or profile page. Pick one. Build it.

Some people think apps that are designed specifically with your immediate community in mind are likely to be more attractive to your immediate community, over generic "shallower" ones targeted to a much larger audience. Here is one article that talks about this:

At the moment, zembly provide apis to store and retrieve information using the amazon S3 service. Check out:

To use these you need an amazon S3 account. Once you have one, you can enter the account access credentials in the "manage your keychain" page.
