Escafeld, so sorry for the frustration. We're actually working on a page that will show all of the badges you can be awarded and your progress toward them for a release very soon. In the meantime here's an answer for you:

- alpha user (here since the very beginning)
- beta user (here since the almost-beginning)
- 5 blips
- 100 blips
- 500 blips
- 5 followers
- 25 followers
- bold blippr (blippd something on Friday the 13th)

I'm sorry you find them too much. We will soon have much better ads placed there, but for the interim they are Google-placed. Given we only have one 300x250 in a right sidebar, and one in a footer, we were hoping these would not seem too overwhelming, but we understand your problem with them.

We will be working on making these integrate better with the site over the coming weeks and months, and actually, trying some really cool experiments that encourage the ads to be much more contextual. Hopefully you find them getting better over time, and if you don't, of course let us know.

Side note: as I clicked through I was surprised to see the Google ads on Get Satisfaction's sidebar and below your problem, too. Similar to your experience on blippr, I'm sure.

Bealzes, more specified categories is something we would definitely love to implement in the future. In the meantime, you can use the tags provided to get to the same thing for the time being. For example: http://www.blippr.com/search/movies/t....

Dan, our apologies for not getting back to you. Not sure how we missed your email!

In regards to progress on this piece, there still hasn't been much, unfortunately, though it is high on our priority list. We only have one developer, so much of our focus to date has been on developing the site, optimizing performance, and other pieces that are more mandatory than an iPhone app. Though as an iPhone user, I can tell you that I myself am salivating for one.
