I also have this issue, lost about 70% of followers and following.

About half of my followers and half of those I was following vanished too. I checked some of them manually (even though I know they're people, not spammers) and re-followed a couple before I got tired of digging to figure out who I lost.

2) indicate whether you verified a device (a phone) in the past 24 hours. - no I did not verify my cell phone in the past 24 hours

Account is Cup_Of_Joe --- shows about 1/2 of my contacts gone... note... all of the profile pics are showing though.....but #'s are reduced under following & followers. Help me out...

@crystal Thanks Crystal, greatly improved. Originally was at following:followers -> 99:139, now 53:97. Not sure if there's more you could do or not, but thanks for the huge fix from before :)
