Ups, really confused, can't edit this comment anymore: 50N/8.25W would be in the Atlantic, sorry. The real position is 50N/8.25E but gets reported in flickr as 50N/8.25W – macsteve, on August 09, 2008 11:38

Sure it's not you or flickrExport, but for me the problem is still there, see description below. Do you need some more information or data? – macsteve, on August 09, 2008 11:03

Still not fixed for me:
OSX 10.5.4 (Intel) iPhoto 7.1.4 iPhoneOS 2.0.1
flickrExport 3.0.0b25
on a Photo taken with an (1st gen) iPhone at 50.00 N / 8.25 W
that was imported using iPhoto
iPhoto Info Panel reports longitude: 8° 15' W
OSX Preview reports longitude: -8.25 W (!)
flickrExport exports longitude: -8.25

JediSthlm asked a question in Connected Flow on July 18, 2008 10:11:
Write GPS metadata back to AptertureI use flickrExport to add GEO Data to my pictures (Load GPX data). I see there is a checkbox to add this information to the metadata in Aperture. The problem is that the metadata is not written to the image metadata in Aperture after the image has been uploaded to Flickr.
It would also be nice to be able to write the metadata to the files without uploading the files to Flickr.
I'm on Apterture 1.5 and the files are Canon RAW files.

Exporting from Aperture with FlickrExport 3b35 gives wrong GPS data at FlickrHowdy
First of all, love the export plugin. Use it a lot.
This bug is not really related to version 3 beta 25.
Have a bought version 1 that had the same problem.
Just bought a PhotoTrackr Lite from GiSTEQ. (http://www.gisteq.com/PhotoTrackrLite...)
They only offer a GPS Data / Image syncing program for Win (they are working on a Mac version)
If I add the GPS data to my pictures in their program and
then upload the image to Flickr it works ok.
If I import the GPS tagged image into Aperture and then Export
the image to Flickr with your plugin it does not work. The image
have GPS data but they seem wrong.
I've uploaded a few images that I commented.
Image uploaded from Aperture / FlickrExport (does not work)

Image uploaded with Flickr web uploader (works)

I'm not sure that this have anything to do with your plugin but please have a look at it.
If you need anything else let me know.
I also added a message in GiSTEQ forum about this problem
