A comment on the question "What Happened to the Twitter Follow Button at Bottom of Twitter Widget?" in Widgetbox:
Unfortunately there is no workaround - we're working on the problem, but it will take at least a week to push a fix. – Jeff Remer, on November 11, 2009 07:07

Hi there,
I've responded to your email support ticket as well, but here's the answer to this question:
It appears that you recently changed your twitter username (from krebsrecycle.com to krebsrecycle) - the issue on our end appears related to this. You can create a few different types of twitter tabs (search, favorites, updates), but only the updates shows the follow button. Unfortunately at the moment unless your username is consistent across all your updates then it will be treated like a favorites or search tab.
We are working for on a fix for this.
Thanks for your patience,
Jeff
Jeff Remer replied on November 09, 2009 20:31 to the question "Facebook app looks good but then blank" in Widgetbox:
Hi there,
I can see what you are talking about. What's happening is that the asynchronous process that makes a placeholder image for your Facebook profile never seemed to create that image or load it properly. Usually that process can take up to an hour, so it's not unusual to not see a placeholder image at first - but at this point it looks like something went wrong.
We'll continue to look into it, but in the mean time I think the fastest way to potentially resolve your issue would be to delete your App on facebook and disconnect it on Widgetbox, then try again.
Thanks,
Jeff

A comment on the problem "billing" in Widgetbox:
Hi Randy,
You can already create and distribute widgets on Widgetbox for free. However if you find you need more customization power and would like to have ads removed from your widgets you can start with the standard Widgetbox Pro subscription.
http://www.widgetbox.com/product/pro/
From there, if you find that you need more Pro credits you can either purchase Pro credit packs or upgrade to Publisher Pro for even more features such as Facebook Fan Page Apps.
Hope this helps,

Hi Hugo,

On Widgetbox you no longer purchase individual widgets, instead you subscribe to a service.

Jeff Remer replied on November 09, 2009 18:55 to the question "support@widgetbox.com IS NOT WORKING!" in Widgetbox:
Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you have received a message that email support has failed - this is very unexpected since we have been receiving email support tickets consistently and have no other reports of lots/refused emails.
I would recommend trying to email support@widgetbox.com once more to see if you receive the same error.
In the meantime I can answer your questions generally (since I would need your Widgetbox username to lookup any details on your account):
"How much does the widgetbox cost me?"
Since you mentioned that you were charged $3.99 six times since May, that means you have a standard Widgetbox Pro account and that costs $3.99 on a monthly basis.
"How many times will I be billed? One time? Once a year? Monthly?"
Since you have a standard monthly WIdgetbox Pro account you will be charged monthly.
"Can I first approve of the bill before the amount gets deducted from my visa account?"
No, by purchasing the subscription you agreed to recurring billing on the basis of your subscription period (in your case, monthly). It is not standard practice for any online service to be able to review a recurring bill before accepting it. However, you can always cancel you subscription from your My Account page.
Hope this helps - I would recommend trying to email support again if you would like more help with details specific to your account. Please include your Widgetbox username. Since we are receiving emails currently, consistently, and have never had lost emails/tickets then if the email returns to you refused again it is likely due to an issue with your ISP or email provider.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff Remer replied on October 19, 2009 23:42 to the question "how to use google adsense into my widgets, thanks!!!!???" in Widgetbox:
Hi tommyflorez,
After looking at your widget it looks like you modified the Google AdSense code. By putting all your code on one line you put the javascript AdSense code in between HTML comment tags which causes it not be run. Google AdSense TOS and recommendations state that you should not modify the code they give out.
Hope this helps,
Jeff

Hi Patty,
As I mentioned in your email support request your widget appears to be working as expected. Additionally I've manually checked all of our feed proxy servers to confirm they are getting your feed correctly.
I suspect you have some firewall or security software on your computer or network that is blocking the feed request from the widget.
You could confirm this by trying to view any other blog widget in our gallery or by trying to view your widgets from a computer outside your current network.
You could also try clearing your browser cache in case you have a old version of the widget flash file improperly cached.
It is worth noting, though it is probably unrelated to your current issue. that many of your feeds do not validate. For maximum compatibility you should ensure that your feeds validate: http://validator.w3.org/feed/
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi tommyflorez,
Doesn't look like the code you are trying to post made it through. Could you direct me to your widget on Widgetbox?
Thanks,

Hello tommyflorez,
To install Google Adsense in your custom widgets you need to copy and paste the adsense code that Google provides into the Widgetbox studio editor.
To make your widgets ad-compliant, you will need to ensure that you surround all your ad code with our ad-code snippets.
For more information on including ads in widgets please check out our knowledgebase:

Jeff Remer replied on October 19, 2009 18:50 to the question "cancel widgetbox, keep widgets?" in Widgetbox:
Hi Stephen,
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Purchases tab of your My Account page. In this case your widgets will revert to being ad-supported but they will remain accessible anywhere you have them installed as well as on Widgetbox.
However, if you cancel your account entirely your widgets will disappear.
Thanks,
Jeff

We have just fixed this issue and you should not experience any more trouble creating or editing widgets. You will need to clear your browser cache to ensure you get the new javascript.
There is some more detail on this problem here:

Thanks for using Widgetbox,
