Jeff replied on September 30, 2009 19:53 to the question "How do I register with Google Voice?" in Loopt:
How does it depend on my phone? I am using Google Voice as my phone number and Google Voice for some reason is not receiving the SMS notification from loopt for registration. Without this SMS it does appear possible to register with loopt. Is there a way I am not seeing on the website to register with loopt without having it using an SMS to authenticate my phone number?
Jeff asked a question in Loopt on September 22, 2009 17:10:
How do I register with Google Voice?I use Google Voice as my phone number and use their SMS service. I am not getting my initial registration link, so I am unable to register with Loopt. How can I get registered so I can use this service? I don't have SMS (it is blocked) at all on my cellular number so using that number is not an option.
Jeff asked a question in GOGII on August 21, 2009 11:54:
GoGII needs to work with textPlusI am using textPlus and just signed up for beta.GOGII.com. But beta.GOGII wants to send me an SMS to my actual phone rather than to textPlus. Why isn't it sending to TextPlus instead?-

Jeff replied on April 12, 2009 04:51 to the problem "Video Emails Playing and FREEZING off and on!" in TokBox:
I am not sure it will affect playback of a video already captured. I believe the issue is at the point that the video is captured. ( I am not sure I said this very well in my previous post. ) Already captured videos still have the freeze in them, but newly created videos with the unlimited setting appear to be working well, at least with the bit of testing I have done this evening.

I changed a setting in flash and it appears to have resolved this issue for me. The local storage setting. (it is one of the settings where you tell flash what camera and audio device to use) I changed it to unlimited and now the captured videos do appear to be working. The default in Flash 10 is 10kb, The problem is not on playback, It is when the video is captured. And yes it was happening with every video I would send or live video I would use via TokBox.-

I am experiencing this same issue on two separate computers. 1 computer is Vista with all updated video drivers and windows updates and the latest flash player, version 10.
1 computer is windows xp with all updated video drivers and flash player 10.
I have tried using IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Chrome and all of them freeze the video in the same place and continue on with the audio. This makes me think it is a problem with the actual video file that has been captured rather than a playback issue.
I have not yet tried using my Ubuntu installation to see if this problem exists on a non-windows platform.
But I experience this issue with every video mail that I send and it happens every time I use tokbox for live video chat. It is not an intermittent problem for me, it is very consistent.-

A comment on the idea "Three critical things for Ping.fm to be usable" in Ping.fm:
On custom triggers: What if I want to build a custom trigger for a service I have setup as a microblog and others that I have setup as status updates? The custom trigger system appears to only allow me to build a trigger based on how I have categorized them (status, blog, micro blog) rather than literally choosing the specific services that I would want the trigger to send to. So it would be impossible for me to build a custom trigger that would update facebook and wordpress in my situation since I have facebook as a status, and wordpress as a blog. I think this is what the original author was trying to get at. – Jeff, on February 16, 2009 13:45-
