Jeff replied on February 11, 2009 17:24 to the question "Ping without give my passwords." in Ping.fm:
This would be based on the service being connected to. If the service provides oAuth or some other means of authentication then it could be possible. Ping.fm has to connect to services based on those services API, and if they require a username and password for data to be added to their networks then that is what ping.fm needs to provide to them.

Add Pikter support?Pikter has a fairly straight forward API. http://pikter.com/index.php?op=api
So maybe Pikter support could be in the future for ping.fm?

Jeff replied on February 09, 2009 16:08 to the question "send post to an email address" in Ping.fm:
I was looking into the custom URL feature to do something with this, but I can't seem to find a way to attach the actual photo to an email so that I could send a picture to my picasa or pikter secret email accounts. I can only get ping.fm to provide a URL to the media file on the ping.fm site. ( I am not all too savy so it may still be doable, but I just don't know how to do it.)

Robert this app works great. Excellent job. The UI is simple and it works perfectly with pictures and location. I honestly don't see anything that needs to be changed at this point. This is excellent. Thanks for pulling me into the beta testing. I am tossing around some pings and will let you know if I encounter any issues.-

This is great. I look forward to seeing how it works. I submitted my UDID and hope to get a chance to see it before it goes live in the app store. – Jeff, on January 26, 2009 19:17

I am having this same issue. I had IntenseDebate installed and then went back to Disqus and decided to return to IntenseDebate. Not sure if that is what is causing this issue. New comments are not importing in and on the IntenseDebate settings page it is stuck at the "Queued, waiting for import."
I am also failing to see an option to 'reset' the plugin. Do you mean deactiviate and then reactive the plugin? I have tried this and I am still stuck at the "Queued, waiting for import." portion and it will be going on 48 hours soon.-

Jeff asked a question in Pikter on September 24, 2008 13:42:
Can we remove a Picasa username?I am using my Picasa username as my google login ID, which is my email address. Oddly enough Picasa can't display my public page with the @ symbol, but it does successfully add the picture to my Drop Box from Pikter.
I see we can't yet change our Picasa name on Pikter, but I was wondering if the option to remove a service could be added? Then I could remove Picasa and then re-add my Picasa account with one of my Picasa usernames without the @ symbol in it. Hopefully this made some sense. :)
