I tweet before bedtime, and the dark theme is much kinder on the eyes in a darkened room (not to mention my wife!) than the light theme. Tweetie 2 is good - nearly great - but I'd still like to see this option return. I miss it!

I understand your hesitancy about ping.fm, but I don't share it. I use Tweetie 1 for iPhone, with ping.fm, to post to about 5 different services, and it's something I greatly appreciate. If Tweetie 2 lacks it, I'll be very disappointed, and I'll probably stick to T1 on the iPhone, because at the end of the day if T2 doesn't do the task I want it for, it's no good to me... which would be a great shame, because there are many improvements it has that I definitely DO want!

I realise I'm an induhvidual, and may not be representative of the majority, but I though it worth adding my voice to those who would ask for at least the basic-but-perfectly-functional ping.fm support that Tweetie 1 for iPhone has to be included in the T2 core for iPhone and Mac. – JeFurry, on October 09, 2009 08:02
