It's strange that the first few times I loaded the program, both the first version, and now the update, that it had me wildly off at first. After loading it 3 -4 times after, it got it much closer. This version, it first seemed to mark me around 60 - 90 miles north of actual location, but now seems to be pretty close.

This is really strange. Now it pulled in a bunch of markets, all of the ones I was expecting. So, my guess is that the last time I posted, it had my location in WI but too far away from any farmers markets to register, and now it's seeing my position more accurately. The message I had was something along the lines of "There are no markets within 100 miles of you".
Let me know if there's other feedback I can give to help.

Ok, a few things...
I'm not using an iphone that has gps, I have a 1st gen 8gb iphone running 2.2.1 (having a 2nd gen phone wasn't in the requirements, so I figured I was ok).
On restart, it did recognize that I was in WI (WOOHOO!). However, it doesn't pull in my farmers market info. I went to the localharvest website, so I know they have info there for my area. Again, don't know if it's not getting a specific enough area since I'm not using a phone with gps. If you want to look into my area, my zip code is 53207.
If the issue is with not having gps, I'm assuming building in the ability to manually enter the zip would resolve the issue with people who don't have a 2nd gen phone (?). Of course, I'm not a programmer, so I may be just making silly assumptions.
Thanks for your quick reply, regardless of the outcome, I appreciate what you're doing with the software.

Location awareness not accurateI live in Milwaukee, but the auto location finder lists me in Illinois. I can't find a way to change it. It'd be nice to manually enter in zip code as an option.
