I found I was using the wrong user name entirely – AdamG, on July 01, 2008 17:05

I believe I may have found at least one cause of this issue: Be VERY certain the capitalization of your login is precisely as FriendFeed expects it. If you're using any caps, try it without them in your login, just straight lower. With that slight change, I could login. – Alexander Williams, on June 26, 2008 11:12

I'm experiencing the same thing on XP with 0.8.2, though it's hard to be sure with the speed the status flicks by at the bottom of the panel. Twitter connects and works perfectly, I just can't get it to see FriendFeed without the login block in the way or, apparently, fed by my items.
I'm set on Public on my FF account, incidently.

I'm on private, but it magically started working for me a couple of weeks ago, not sure why. – Jenny, on June 21, 2008 15:33

Yup. Logins are a known problem--and are referenced in the forum post. – Pixielo, on June 18, 2008 14:22

Not getting the popup happens a lot when a mission brings you to a site where you log in, and are logged in, and the site has a special "dashboard" or "home" page for users than it does for the general public. Twitter, for example, is twitter.com, but redirects you to twitter.com/home if you're logged in. That's caused problems with more than a few missions I've taken. The solution for that kind of thing is to log out of the offending site.

Especially at first, many people were making 'broken' missions. I've started the forum thread on why http://pmog.com/forums/straturgy/topi...
I try to send Pmail and crates with Tools for the fix for these mission, but some players play so passively that they haven't even noticed yet.
My advice to these players is, 'If you can't take your own mission, no one else can either.'
The yellow-on-white text is not enjoyable at all. I agree!
