Also, is my problem browser-specific or something? I'm using the most recent version of Firefox for Mac, and again, I only just started having this problem. I'd also like to delete one of my own tweets because I think it's weird and embarrassing, but I can't seem to get rid of it!

EDIT: Guess what! Safari works fine. Too bad I don't use Safari.

I use Second Life on a laptop exclusively, and on a (decent) wireless Internet connection. I've basically followed all the steps in the Guide to Improving Mac Performance... except my sliders and settings are pushed all the way toward, you know, the bottom of the barrel.

I should append--now that I've looked at older posts, I mean--that I'm not having a beat-matching issue. Just occasionally frustrating stutters. Um. Since you guys are well aware, I should probably delete the above post (but I don't know how!!).
