Jenniferlauren replied on April 13, 2009 14:55 to the question "how do I uninstall oneriot toolbar?" in OneRiot:
Here in the Get-Sat forum, there are instructions on how to uninstall the oneriot toolbar for each type of browser. If you are having difficulty finding it, I am absolutely happy to help.
Each browser has a different uninstallation process. Can you tell me which you want the toolbar removed from? Safari, FF, IE? Also, do you know what toolbar you downloaded?
Let me know, and I will reply with the correct instructions.
Thanks much,

Aw, don't be sad. First of all, thanks for taking the time to check http://twitter.oneriot.com out and for your feedback, always appreciated.
As for your results, well...OneRiot’s Twitter search reveals the relevant web pages that are currently being discussed within the Twitter community. We're different than the standard twitter search because we're not showing you the conversation tweets around a specific search query, but the actual links that were shared on Twitter about that specific term. Someone has to tweet a URL about that search query for it to be listed in our search. That's probably why the OneRiot results were not what you expected.
I can assure you that OneRiot isn't fake, in fact we're all natural baby! (Though I'll admit that as a OneRiot employee, I have used fake tanner before going to the beach....so I am a little fake I guess.) ;)
If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot em' my way!
Thanks!

I prefer the ever classy, yet always comfortable skort. But sweatpants are where it's at. Hollah.

Jenniferlauren replied on April 02, 2009 05:07 to the question "Can I log-in to make comments on search results?" in OneRiot:
That would be an affirmative. In fact, we totally encourage comments! The only catch, (if you can call it a catch,) is that you have to have a facebook account. (But let's be serious, who doesn't have one these days?) :)
When you go to a http://oneriot.com and search a subject, you will see on the right hand side of the webpage that there is a link where you can leave a comment about that search query.
Click it and it will ask you to log into Facebook Connect. Do it and then you are all set to comment away!
If you're exceptionally funny, we have a contest going on at http://searchsurfsizzle.com where you can leave hilarious comments on our hot topics. If yours is the funniest, you've just won $1000! (Must be a college student to play...sorry not trying to be a hater! We just sympathize with the "poor college sentiment.")

Jenniferlauren replied on April 02, 2009 03:34 to the question "where did you get this idea?" in OneRiot:
Why thank you kind sir! We do what we can. ;) Well, if you're talking about our twitter search, it was more of an evolution! We're twittering fools at OneRiot, and we just happen to have a pretty sweet search engine that brings you the freshest and most vibrant content on the web. http://oneriot.com
With these powers combined-we bring you a pretty radical spin on Twitter Searches. Our results, for any query, reveal the relevant web pages that are currently being discussed within the Twitter community.
Our team worked super hard to get search rollin' and we would love to know what you think! Feedback is always awesome!
Thanks!

Hey thanks for checking out http://blog.oneriot.com ! Really glad you are enjoying it. We do what we can to give you the news, but we like to sneak a little chuckle in now and then too. ;)
We have about 5 consistent bloggers, with a few others who make a guest appearance now and then.
While I'm sure you can find tons and tons of blogger advice, my best tip would be to pick a genre or topic that you love and feel passionate about...whether it's super specific (like shelling oysters,) or more general (like current events,) stay consistent, and love what you are writing about. It will make you an "expert" in that area, and people will love to read what you're saying if they know you're into it.
Just my 2 cents. ;)
Good luck! Have a great one!
