hey! Sorry about that Paul! Ok, it seems that the sidebar has been a little sticky lately! The thing that usually kick-starts the sidebar for me is logging into the actually website. Go to me.dium.com and in the upper right corner you can log into the actual website with your me.dium log in and username. Once you're logged in, try pulling up the sidebar and logging into that.

Let me know if that works, I know it sounds like a pain...but we're doing a lot of changes around here. Hopefully this won't be an issue for long! Thanks for your patience!!

hmm that sounds really frustrating! Is it only slamming you to the bottom when you have the me.dium sidebar up and running, or also when you have it closed? let me know and we can move from there!

Hey, sorry that you are having issues with the sidebar, but thanks for taking the time to voice your problem. I've had this problem once or twice before, and the way i was able to fix it was pretty easy. Go to Me.dium.com with the sidebar closed, and in the top right corner there should be a link to log in. Log in with your sidebar password and screen name to the website, and then pull up the sidebar by clicking the me.dium pyramid logo in your toolbar.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I can look into it further. Hope that helps!

Hey. First of all, sorry that you are having a username/password issue with Me.dium. I'm going to do my best to help out, but am going to need a little more information. So you went to Me.dium.com and registered. You created a username and password, and after submitting your registration, your password showed up as your username, correct? What did you register as your username originally?

you can add friends by clicking the "add friends" link at the bottom of the sidebar. The best way to get friends on Me.dium is to invite your friends to join! (You can slurp your email to add friends.)

Also, we have a team here that you can chat with to get the idea of what me.dium is all about. Add GFIGG, PJN, or JENNIFERLAUREN (That's me,) to start finding out what Me.dium is all about!

since this topic was started, we've made some changes at Me.dium. As of now, our sidebar is all about YOU and your friends! Currently, people you don't know can NOT chat with you, unless you have confirmed their friend request, or you have requested their friendship which they have confirmed. (You can add friends by clicking the link at the bottom of the sidebar.)

Of course, your privacy is still important to us, so you will ALWAYS be in control. Set yourself to invisible at any time when you don't want to share your online location.

Hey! As of right now, posting a blog on http://blogme.dium.com/ is restricted to employees, however we totally encourage comments! (In fact we love them.) At the bottom of the page, there is a place for you to do so, just click "comments" and go from there.

However, if you have your own blog from a different blogging host, you can use Me.dium to check out the traffic on your site. Grab a Me.dium widget and see all the people reading your blog. Simply set the widget on your blog, and people will be able to see crowds forming around your site.

I would love to check out your blog, so once you've got it going, post a link here and I'll check it out!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to check out Me.dium. The problem of the sidebar disappearing after you toggle off of it definitely should not be happening, and we're sorry about that. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? http://me.dium.com/uninstall

Give that a try and tell me if that fixes the problem. If not, I will pass it on and make sure that we do everything we can to take care of the problem. Thanks for your patience, I know it can be frustrating.

what do you think of the new sidebar colors and themes? Personally, I'm a fan of moss! To check out the other colors, click the little wheel looking icon at the top of the sidebar and choose your favorite!
