tags not retroactive and list of used programs/websites in activity view
hello. the activity name one makes is not retroactive? whenever i add an activity, it doesn't record any time i had used the respective program or website from before i added the activity. it's a feature that's important because people can go off and do things throughout the day on certain pages and programs and not realize it's not being recorded. that means people need to make the activity BEFORE they do work. one needs to anticipate what they're going to do before they do it, which means if you don't....all the time put into the specific program or website won't be recorded. am i correct? also, in the activity view, instead of typing out a title of a window or website, there should also be an option of a list of past viewed/used programs and websites. these are two features that would EXTREMELY enhance the power of you program. next release?

my /people/ address needs (wants) a changin'
first off. thank you for lifehacker. i've become an everyday read and it's JUST the kind of site that i never knew i needed. always copied, never surpassed. second, i registered under a different name than i want. is there a way i can change my profile url 'http://lifehacker.com/people/examplename' to something else? i changed my name but the address is still under the old name. i know, i know it's silly. t's for the sake of consistency and my own stupid sanity. thanks.

    another suggestion.....

    > eatpoopucat.com - a GREAT...funny drawing site where people interpret a sentence and draw a picture on it. then the next person writes a sentence based only by looking at the picture...and so on until there are 5 sentences and 4 drawings forming a strip.....good stuff.

seriously...what's involved in adding? just add to a list or do you need permission from the site or integrate somehow or is it just a link? or am i actually asking you for the secrets of your trade? hehe. thanks.

sites that should definitely be on the list.
hey dandy...just a couple of suggestions cause i really like your service...you probably got the biggest list of all agregators so i figured i'd help make it larger.

    > wis.dm - a place where people ask questions or answer them.

    > gamerDNA.com - for gamers to find new games and map out th "DNA" of all their favorites from old school to new

    > okcupid.com - a free dating site that actually works. it figures out what kind of person you are by taking quizes and answering questions. not sure if you guys/gals are trying to stay away from dating sites for any reason but...whatever.

    > jango.com - a online radio music site kinda of like pandora with the rating system except with a more social networking aspect involved. list to others stations and whatnot.

that's all for now. what's actually involved in adding sites to your list? cause there's a LOT of sites out there you could add. but these are quality. thanks again. hope it helps.

loading symbol keeps rotating and services list doesn't save urls
after i add all my urls in the list of services on your website, the loading symbols keep rotating and never stop. when i leave the page after a while they're all gone. no save button or nothing. i was o the page waiting for a long time and they all keep rotating. i even just tried one to lighten the load and it still kept going. any ideas?

p.s. it's about your site. not the plugin, but the plugin is the only option for get satisfaction problems to report.

    Jephrei
i'm gettin the same thing...only been happening for the past two days....since i installed ubiquity....which is effin' great by the way. but still. never happened with firefox before....and i usually have upwards of a hundred tabs open. obviously a restart of my laptop helps, but still. also, firefox.exe has been residing in memory after i close firefox as well. seems like it's using about double the RAM it usually does. i have faith in mozilla for fixin it eventually. i guess these are the kinda things we should expect from an addon in it's pre-version 1 stages.

FYI: i installed it in 0.6 and just upgraded tonight to 0.6.1

i'll be glad to offer any more info.
