They've removed the self check outs from most of the stores in our area.

Give it a few more years, they will have converted everything from UPC to RFID and checkout will be as easy as walking your full cart out the door and to your car.

If you take the receipt back from the CSR and say "I'd like to exchange this broken item for an identical item and I do not have the receipt available to you" then they will exchange it sans receipt if you have some valid ID. They will credit you the lowest price that the exact item has sold for at that store in the last x days. "x" is probably 30, but I don't know for sure.

Same with Home Depot- if you have the receipt they will refund the cost to the card you bought it with "within 5 business days" but if you do not have the receipt they will give you store credit that you can use right then. (Which is fine if you're doing a straight exchange or an upgrade.)

FYI, it may have been a "fluke", but a microwave is never a "flute".

So, you're lying to your kid(s) and you're upset at wal mart via fed ex for "almost" outing you as a liar. Come clean and apologize. Explain to your kids that nothing is free.

Auditioning is fine... but my comment was just trying to give proper credit to the artist who designed a background that was photo'd on lifehacker. The existing comments are claiming it's from deviant art, and it isn't... username is jeremy_tulsa I think
