Jeremy Thurgood posted an update in Yola on May 30, 2009 15:37:
Technical Improvements to Yola's SystemsFor far too long, we have been storing site resources (such as uploaded images) on a big, nasty shared fileserver. This worked fine when we were small, but has started to cause problems in recent months. Without going into too much technical detail, all our servers have been fighting each other over whose turn it is to access things.
To fix this problem and return tranquility to our favorite corner of the Internet, Yola's intrepid team of Software Samurai have custom-built a distributed resource store. This resource store is in charge of making sure that your precious files are available at an instant's notice without causing woe and strife amongst the other servers in Yola's Marvelous Mechanical Menagerie.
Today's upgrade hooked the resource store up to the rest of the systems. As often happens with such endeavors, things did not go quite as smoothly as planned and the Software Samurai had to leap into action and make things right again.
Turning the resource store on is just the beginning of an ambitious plan to improve how Yola works behind the scenes. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be moving existing data into the resource store and upgrading other parts of the system to take advantage of the work we have already done.

404s for all episodes of "The Takeover""The Takeover" returns 404 errors when trying to download any of the episodes, although the feed seems fine. The "the end" downloads fine.
This happens with my personal feed (my username is "jerith") as well as the common feed: http://www.podiobooks.com/title/the-t...
I subscribed using Mur's non-Podiobooks feed, but I thought I should probably let you know.
