Worked perfectly fine for me, and apparently the others who commented above as well. Need to drag the URL icon (NOT the URL address) to a folder on the bookmark toolbar, not the URL address. Good luck.

jimlad01, thank you from Tokyo as well. I was going bananas trying to figure out the same exact issue. Yes, clicking and dragging only the icon to the URL address rather then having to highlight first the entire URL address is a welcome feature. However, it would be nice if Mozilla would document this somehow so people don't need to discover things by 'hit-and'miss' processes.

Now the only other issue is, I used to be able to drag a URL to an open Skype window and by doing so, it would add the title of the article as well as append the URL to the article right below the title. This does not seem to work any longer. If any way has some idea how this can be done, if it still can be done, I'd appreciate shedding some light on this function.
