Not the URL of the item, but the full title of the item. Currently it's just showing the truncated version of the title, but it would be nice to just hover over it to see the entire title. Sometimes I don't know if I've already seen something or not in the sidebar.

Flickr does this for example on their image thumbnails so you can see what the full title is before clicking: http://dznr.org/qegv

Practical example of why this would be useful:

I *just* found out that aldamiz is someone that i've met before. I couldn't tell from the photo and I only guessed that they were a strands employee since that's where most of the people that I don't know are from on strands currently.

Perhaps a zoom function on the photo would be nice too?

I think it would still be useful to have a universal on/off switch for certain content types. Especially when microblogs are their own category.

Additionally, it might be cool to have content on/off for groups. So i could turn off music for people in one of my groups. Just an idea.

I think what Jason suggested is the best solution! Josh, after doing what Jason suggested do you still see a need to have a "universal on/off" for particular feeds?

I think this is a good fix, and very easy to navigate

We will be looking into that, but in the near-term you can just go to http://beta.strands.com/settings/conn... and then run down the list turning on/off the content you want from each. Let us know what you think.

A comment on the idea "Can we have a bio field?" in Strands:

Both would be great actually. Sometimes I don't realize my friends are on certain sites.

The bio box is really helpful for realizing who people are. For instance, if I have a ton of followers, I may not want to add more without knowing who they are. Perhaps I didn't realize who they are from their picture or screen name.

How about a block of favicons with links to all of their other profiles? Or would you prefer to have a textbox where users can type something?
