A comment on the problem "Performance/reliability problems" in Beanstalk:
Thanks Chris, I'm sure the scaling isn't easy, but if there's any way to silo free accounts so they only minimally affect paying accounts, that would go a long way. Happy you guys are seeing so much interest/activity, but do hope things settle down soon. – reefdog, on June 05, 2008 13:35

Hey Everyone,
With the release of Versions and our partnership, we have had over 1,200 new accounts sign up in the last 20 hours or so. EngineYard is helping us deal with the growth, but obviously not good enough. We're working with them to beef up our server resources.
Really sorry for the issues.
Chris

I fumbled a bit over this, so just in case someone else needs to know, here are the URLs that must be provided to FogBugz in the Settings > Site configuration page:
Source Control URL for logs:
http://YOURS.beanstalkapp.com/^REPO/browse/^FILE
Source Control URL for diffs:
http://YOURS.beanstalkapp.com/^REPO/diff/^R1/^R2/^FILE
Hope this helps!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the reports. Today we are experiencing some issues with our load balancers, so we have some downtime.
Overall, the experience with EngineYard had been great, but we still have some periods of performance issues randomly. Both Wildbit and EngineYard are working hard to provide a consistent and stable system.
JHudson: The public site is on another host to keep things isolated. That is why you see the fast load times. It's just a simple HTML site.
Thanks,
Chris

I have to agree. Most of the time the site works great. But I would say one or two nights out of a week I just can't browse to the site. www.beanstalk.com comes up instantly but https://jalsoft.beanstalkapp.com/sess..., takes like 5 minutes to load. It stalls on "Loading asset1.beanstalk.com.
Also the help link from my dashboard does not work, i just get a page could not be found page. It seems like most of these problems started after the move to engine yard. Maybe this was a bad move?
