Thanks for the pointer, Jigar. Imagine, Chrome + AIR... I'm quite excited. What a *fast* browser this is-- it feels as if I bought a new computer...

Do you use Twitter? We're very close to launching a new tool that's about link sharing in the context of Twitter specifically -- let me know and I'll set you up.

Well, I agree bookmarklet is good and it satisfies mostly.. but I have been using screenshot functionality for some websites where there are no images on the page still I want to save the layout of the site for later reference!! That thing is not possible with bookmarklet!! May be for that, we will need extension!

Grex, I read it on some blog post (Chrome has a browser extensions framework that will allow it to make Adobe-AIR type hybrid apps, and because of its sharing of code with Firefox it may even become easy for Firefox extensions to be ported over to Chrome @ http://ostatic.com/172340-blog/hands-...)

I'm fairly certain that Ping.fm has everything on there end ready to support it, they are waiting on Orkut to do some things on their end, so e-mail them and tell them not to delay on helping Ping.fm integrate with them!

I'm really excited about Chrome, too -- I've been using it since yesterday and it's been sooo fast and nice to use.

That said, I haven't discovered or read about an extension mechanism for Chrome -- did you?

So far, I've been using the bookmarklet (grab it at www.mento.info/share), which certainly works but I'd love to have an extension eventually, too.
