Well, first of all, I am not sure if I am understanding things perfectly so, let me tell you what I meant.. Right now, if I go to, http://www.iheartmovies.org/user/jiga... it shows me only three titles which I have rated.. whereas in my collection I have 200+ titles added (they all are also marked as 'watched'..).. So, what I want is, when I add any title to my collection, RSS feed should contain that title as well (so, not only rated movies, RSS feed should contain watched movies as well!) Similarly you can include all other possible interactions of users with movies in RSS (like if somebody marks some movie as MustSee, that should also be published as RSS).. Well, RSS feed about rated movies is very good. I was thinking about RSS feed which also includes entries about my newly watched movies..

Regarding FriendFeed, you are right, they need to integrate with your service.. But it can be done both ways actually.. Say for example, Mento (http://mento.info) publishes to friendfeed on my behalf.. just an option for you to evaluate.. If there is good RSS feed for my shelf exposed by IHM, I am good..

FriendFeed support!

Friendfeed is the feed aggregator site which collects almost all activities for me around the web.. and lets me and my network discuss over that (take a look at my friendfeed page, http://friendfeed.com/jigarme)

If you can provide support for Friendfeed, so that whenever anybody adds a movie to any list on IHM, it shows up on friendfeed as well and people can comment on it! FriendFeed already supports netflix (such that when I add any movie to queue, it shows up with movie coverart on friendfeed).. look at (http://friendfeed.com/public?service=...)

If you dont want to integrate hardcoded to friendfeed, it would be really nice to have a RSS feed for my catalog.. so that I can share that with my friends (even I can add it on friendfeed) such that whenever I add any movie to my shelf, my RSS feed gets updated and my friends gets updated about it!

Let me know if you need any details.

Oh I see. Thanks grex, for the response. I just thought of sharing it just in case if anybody else gets the same issue...

I was trying to capture some firefox's about:config utility which I found useful and wanted to share with people... but never mind, i took snapshot manually and uploaded it.

first of all, I love mento! Its really great!

I am using Mento AddOn in Firefox 3.0 RC2/3.. and I have seen this consistently that everytime I post screenshot through Firefox toolbar button, and after that use addressbar to go to some site, it crashes.. this is 90/100 times sort of experience.. If I dont use mento toolbar, I have not seen any crashes..

Do you think mento addon can be culprit? I have submitted almost 50 reports to firefox for those crashes.. (see if you can get access to that data, not sure though if they share it.)..

I have my links shared with my friends through RSS.. When I post a picture, they dont see picture in the RSS.. instead they see just title and comment I added. Why doesnt it show the picture thumbnail as well ? (just like it posts the thumbnail at friendfeed!)

I love Mento! Screenshots posting is really a great feature and will bring you lots of users!
Though, I have complaints and suggestions about your toolbar software!

When I post a screenshot or link, you popup a window where I can write title and comment (add tags etc.).. after that I click on Save and the link gets saved in my mento profile.. After that, next window says link is posted with just close button! Why do you want to give that? I think it should be removed.. it requires just one more input by user.. the more faster one can use mento and post link, the more they will use it!

According to me the flow is all correct except that last dialog (with close button)..

Also, if you can provide shortcut keys for features like a Quick post (Ctrl + Space) and Screenshot (Ctrl + PrntScreen) it will be great!

How does twhirl window's scrollbar work?

I am really confused about this.. Scrolling and scrollbar is really behaving weirdly!! Sometimes I see very small scrollbar and i scroll a single line and I see much bigger one! also, scrolling is not equa-distance! Sometimes, it will scroll for 100 lines and sometimes it will just for 3 lines! How does it work actually? Cant we have just a normal scrollbar where people can predict how much it will scroll? Its really difficult looking at the stories scrolling like this!!

Realy bad experience..

Notification window should stay locked (should not fade away from screen) if I have my mouse pointer on to it!

Almost all softwares having notification windows have this software.. This is given mostly because, say if I am reading something else which is important and cant change my track to this new notification window, i can just have an option to place my mouse pointer onto it and make it hang there unless i take it back.

Notification window shows title only, but it would be great if it shows the actual activity.. For example (talking about FriendFeed), say somebody liked some post, it should say X also liked this post.. or say X commented on this post and comment is, "...." (initial few words).. in that way we can check if the latest notification is interesting only then we go and check it out, saving some time!!

I think people will agree with me because FF is having great content with lots of noice as well!!!
