Jim reported a problem in Feedly on October 06, 2009 13:48:
Feedly: 2 different GUIs - how?I'm not sure why, but Feedly looks completely different in Firefox 3.5.3 on two different Macs I'm running it on.
I love the look of it on my MacBook Pro, with the black navigation bar across the top - photo here:

But on my Mac Pro, running the same OS version, same Firefox browser version, and same version of the Feedly extension, it looks like this (no nav bar, with nav in a column on the left:

I prefer the version with the black navigation bar at the top, but I have no idea how it got that way. Any ideas?-

Jim replied on August 24, 2009 19:07 to the idea "Permanently delete messages" in OtherInbox:
When I delete an email, I expect it to be deleted. As in gone forever, no sign of it, zip, zero, nothing. Yet when I delete emails with OtherInbox, they simply get moved to a "Deleted" folder where they appear to remain forever.
How do you truly DELETE an email?

Why aren't deleted emails actually deleted?.

Jim replied on June 04, 2009 13:39 to the problem "1.2.0 update not working w/ Safari 4 beta" in Xmarks:
I've determined that you can still use Xmarks for Safari if you turn off the two features in the "Discovery" tab of the Xmarks for Safari prefs panel. Bookmark syncing still works, and Safari works as normal once you do so.
Not sure if this is truly a SIMBL-related problem or what, because it just started happening with the latest update to Xmarks
Jim reported a problem in Xmarks on June 04, 2009 13:21:
1.2.0 update not working w/ Safari 4 betaLatest update (v 1.2.0) breaks Safari 4 beta. I get a "Cannot load Xmarksplugin plugin" error, and a SIMBL error when launching Safari - which then crashes and requires a force-quit of Safari.
Uninstalling the Xmarks for Safari plugin fixes Safari crash
A comment on the idea "Adding Groups or Stacks to Tweetie for Mac" in atebits:
TweetDeck, Seesmic, Twirl, EventBox and a number of other Twitter Clients have managed to add groups - despite the technology supposedly "not being there." Maybe I should have used "ability" or "capability" or some other word. The point is, Groups is possible - and it works perfectly without an official API - so there's nothing stopping Loren but himself. – Jim, on May 30, 2009 18:16-
