Thanks for the replies. i ended up going into the source code and noticed that the header identifier had formating info in it. I took that out and it worked. Now just to get the format correct! I'm a relative newbie in doing this so lots to learn.

the TOC plugin that I have added to my LIS508 section 2 page does not seem to be picking up the headers. What can I do to correct?
