I'm with you on the difference. This post is a comment...so no avatar. I'm with ya. – medXcentral (Jim), on November 10, 2009 23:12

Well.. how about that?!?!?!? When I posted that last comment, I was not logged in to GS. Therefore, I was prompted to login...and given all the options. For that last post, I came in through Twitter.
This post is being created while logged in as described above. Seems to work just fine. Now.. my avatar is not showing beside the comment box at the moment. I'm assuming it will all come together when I hit submit. We'll see.
If so... THANKS for the clarity.

Thanks. I should have come back and posted that I did find where to add emails... and, yes, it was a "duh" moment. :-) But, my morning got away from me. I have not tried to login via a federated source yet. I'll let you know when I do.

ok... I must have missed the spot where I can add/associate more than one email with my GS account. No problem...I'll go look again. I could easily have either missed it or not looked in some time. Based on Thor's reply, as long as I have an email address associated within my GS account which corresponds to the email from the third-party network, my accounts should merge problem free. I'll give it a shot.
I wonder this same question every time I see federated login functionality on any site. This issue is not exclusive to GS... just saying so you don't feel singled out on this topic. :-)
Thanks again for the attention to my concern. I'll give it a try...maybe in the morning. Cross your fingers for me.

How about creating the ability to associate more than one email with our GS account to overcome that issue? Would that make sense? Just searching for a system-wide solution. I'm sure I'm not the only one using more than one email address. – medXcentral (Jim), on November 09, 2009 20:16

Hmmm.. in an attempt to be cautious online, I've used a couple of different emails for different services. So... wondering if your reply works when the matching email is merely an "added" email to one of my third-party accounts.
For example, Google allows the assignment of multiple email addresses to one account. How would that play out through the strategy outlined in your reply.
Oh.. and thanks for the QUICK reply. Love it! – medXcentral (Jim), on November 09, 2009 19:18

Integration and merge of RPX login when I already have a GetSatisfaction direct login. If I login via Facebook or Twitter (using your RPX integration), and I already have a hard-direct login on GetSatisfaction, will everything integrate/merge without error?

Looks very interesting.Looks very interesting. I'll give it as much time as I can so it has the opportunity to keep me using it. And.. the fact that you use GetSatisfaction is a big plus for me.
medXcentral (Jim) replied on October 28, 2009 14:52 to the problem "Ning frame problems iframe owly lnks" in HootSuite:
This is critical. However, I also understand Ning preventing iFrame. I know a work-around...if it can be applied on your end. Another service using iFrame technology has created an internal list of sites which prevent iFrame. From that point, anytime someone hit's that domain, the toolbar drops out of the way, landing on the targeted page. Currently, any Hoot to a Ning site drops the hootsuite toolbar and redirects to the specific Ning community home page. If it would simply drop to the targeted page without redirect, that could be acceptable.
I understand this defeats some of the key value of Hootsuite. However, the amount of sites preventing iFrame is so small, I'm sure it would be a valuable solution to keep Hootsuite users who wish to be able to also Hoot sites that don't play well with iFrame.
Your thoughts?-

Looks like your repair did not take. The underlying hyper-link still retrieves a 404 (Page Not Found) error. Sorry to say. :-) – medXcentral (Jim), on October 19, 2009 20:16

I'm a little lost... can you save me time; 1.) Can I make as many players as I want without upgrading? 2.) Can I make those players only play certain play lists without upgrading? – Jim - medXcentral, on October 01, 2009 15:19
Jim - medXcentral replied on September 28, 2009 14:39 to the question "Job Postings" in medXcentral:
Hey there, Shelly. Sorry you did not find any COTA positions currently. Unfortunately, the Medical Staffing Exchange is going through more changes. Though I have most of it developed, I'm now going to move it onto the medXcentral domain...since that's where name recognition is happening.
Once I get that done, I've got recruiters just waiting to post their positions. Not sure who has COTA positions. I'm sure someone has them though.
I know you've watched my evolution since the beginning. I only wish it could have gone faster. But, as you know, I'm a one man show. And, since you're part of the medXcentral community, you'll be privy to all the news as it happens.
Thanks for your continued support, Shelly. Someday soon, the entire project will have it's final form and begin the maturity process. Believe me; I'm looking forward to that day too. :-)
Warm regards,
Jim Canto
