After a few weeks of OIB working very well, it seems we are back to it not working at all. Over the last 24 hours, no new messages have been organized. I'm up to about 80 messages in my inbox where the majority of them should have been picked up by OIB. Any updates on how the system is performing now?

I agreee that if you found the bug, mark this solved. Don't worry I'll let you know how it is going -- good and bad. – Jim R., on October 07, 2009 16:25

Sounds good. I had a boat load of custom recognition rules get set up this morning (as I manually moved messages into the standard OIB folders, and I saw messages go into my custom folder too. Keep up the good work, and I hope you can resolve the "skipping" issue soon. That would ease a lot of frustrations out there.
Keep up the good work – Jim R., on October 07, 2009 09:23

Hoon, I'm wondering if this is also why custom OIB folders I'm setting up are not being recognized by the Organizer as well. (See my other issue for that one.) – Jim R., on October 05, 2009 17:03

Jim R. reported a problem in OtherInbox on October 01, 2009 09:38:
New OIB folders not being recognized by Automated OrganizerI've created a brand new OIB folder and placed messages into the folder. However, the Automated Organizer (that has run several times since I created the folder) has not recognized the folder. The messages that I placed there are still being sent to the original OIB folder that they were going to and the folder is not available in the drop down list within the Automatic Organizer.

Well, after much hard work from the OIB side, it looks like my account is working correctly again. We needed to delete 2 of my older accounts that got created along the way so that OIB could create a third account. Now I was able to this morning go into the Automated Organizer app and change a setting and save it.
Now, I'm hopeful that OIB can fix the slow response times issue. – Jim R., on September 28, 2009 11:07

Latest news. This morning, after last night removing the Automatic Organizer from my Yahoo! Mail account, I re-enabled it. I'm not sure if it is working yet, but I did get the Welcome to OIB message this morning. So there is a little hope on the horizon. Let me know if you see anything on your side for my account. – Jim R., on September 23, 2009 11:10

OK. I tried to permanently delete my OIB account from that side, and even though I did click the link, my account still appears to be active on that side. Then, if I try to restart the Automatic Organizer from within Yahoo, it will not work. I even tried to remove the Application from my Yahoo mail account and then re-add it in. Still not working. – Jim R., on September 22, 2009 23:40

Went faster than I thought. I terminated my OIB account to make 100% sure the slate is clean. Going to turn it back on now from the Yahoo! side. – Jim R., on September 22, 2009 19:57

I'm in the process of doing that. I also am deactivating my account and removing my mailboxes from the OIB side as well. When that is done, I'll re-activate the organizer on the Yahoo side only. Should I remove the messages from the OIB folders too? – Jim R., on September 22, 2009 19:42

Any updates on this, based on my post from yesterday? Do you want me to disconnect my account from OIB and then re-signup? – Jim R., on September 22, 2009 19:22

That is good. Right now it is discouraging to see nothing working. But I'm all for helping get this resolved to make this a better product. – Jim R., on September 21, 2009 18:05
