I'd love to discuss your requirements. We handle commercial inquiries on a case by case basis.
Feel free to contact me off list to discuss your needs. We're also in the process of rolling out more detailed commercial APIs so perhaps we can find some interesting possibilities.
Let me know your thoughts at jim@aiderss.com and we can go from there!

As Andrew said there is a staged process for discovering feeds. Once the feed url has been registered its queued to add items to the index, this can take a few minutes depending on the depth of the feed update work queue.
I see items in the feed now, up to the post "Bring Back the Attack to the API
2008-Nov-24". it looks like there was a bunch added since ~7:00am when we last checked. The new ones will be added when we next update the feed.
This mechanism will be revamped shortly to respond to ping updaqtes. That will drastically reduce update latency. We've been in the process of "inverting" all of the other polling style process in o n the metrics gathering side - where possible - and are set to look at feed updates.
Once the feed update service is deployed how would this improve user experience from there?

Hi alfredfx,
We have an arrangement with Automattic (making of wordpress) Ping-o-matic service (http://pingomatic.com/) to be notified when you're blog is updated. We maintain an open ping server that is notified on updates.
That's the good news, the bad news is that it isn't connected to the backend indexing systems yet - that should happen soon as we rev our backend feed freshening system - and we're working that project now.
We plan to have that in place before end of year so it will have the effect of really tightening up the latency between new post on your blog and the appearance of the post in the PostRank index. We were on a poll model and as we decrease the update latency we've needed to add significant # of new servers to do the polling so its been a balancing act until we get the ping service wired up.
Look for updates in the next few weeks.
Mind if we contact you to beta test?

Looking into this I see the feed filtered and looking right? I wonder if its has refreshed in the Google cache at this point?
If I visit this page:
http://www.postrank.com/feed/502dce56...
I see the feed you're talking about. If I select great several stories are filtered. If I click on the orange RSS icon and select the filtered feed url:
http://feeds.postrank.com/502dce56228...
and paste that url in the browser it appears to me that only great or better stories are in the feed. I'm not sure why you are seeing the others.
I wonder if the google rss cache is not respecting url parameters? But that doesn't sound right.
1. Is this still the case for you?
2. Can you paste the filtered feed url in your browser and see the correct stories?
Jim
