Josh Lewis asked a question in LifeChurch.tv on July 13, 2009 17:11:
YouVersion Scripture Reference-to-URL Converter?Does YouVersion have any kind of web API in which I could pass a string of text in and get a URL to that passage in YouVersion back? I'd like to be able to query such a service for use on my own site.-

Jeff, you're totally right. My mistake. – Josh Lewis, on May 04, 2009 21:54
A comment on the idea "Hide dock icon" in atebits:
But we don't have to have the dock icon to get the menu bar icon. Twitterrific has an option that allows the user to remove the dock icon but keep the menu bar icon. So the idea that "without a dock icon, you get no menu bar" is totally incorrect.
I don't want to have to tab through (or past) Tweetie to get to other applications. I just want the menu bar there to let me know when I've got new tweets, and that's all. – Josh Lewis, on May 04, 2009 19:05

Josh Lewis shared an idea in atebits on April 20, 2009 12:11:
Un-favorite Tweets that have been FavoritedTweetie should not only allow you to favorite a tweet, but to un-favorite it too. Just toggle on and off. That way, if I accidentally mark a tweet as favorite but didn't mean to, I don't have to go to the web to fix the problem.

A comment on the question "Can I watch movies on my Mac?" in Netflix:
There are so many things that are incorrect in this statement I'm not sure where to begin.
You're right, we should never ask for things or encourage developers to hurry up and sell things to us. You're right, there are no 3rd party Mac-only software development companies that are doing extremely well (and producing better software than any comparable piece of software on Windows). Yes, Apple wants to own 100% of the experience, so they would never open-source anything like their web browser or the bowels of their operating system, and they secretly desire to be the only author of software for Mac OS X!
*sigh* You've got some studying to do. Please do it before making comments like this. – Josh Lewis, on October 23, 2008 03:17

A comment on the idea "I'd like to be able to see who favorites my posts" in Twitter:
That could work, but there's no individual RSS feed. Just a big unified one. I admit, though, the request for an RSS feed of that data is outside the scope of the original request. – Josh Lewis, on July 17, 2008 17:35
