I'm using the uber long number. I'm from Malaysia. It works fine once i send a message over. and then it bugs up again when I log in again.

What country are you in? Do you use one of Twitter's short national numbers, or do you have to use Twitter's long international number?

For those of you who live in Canada, Twitter has to complete your setup manually before SMS from 21212 (Twitter's short code for Canada) will work.

There are some links on why SMS reception fails and how to get it working again in a reply I posted earlier.

As I find further relevant threads, I'm tagging them sms problems.

I suggest you log an issue directly with Twitter support at http://twitter.com/help and provide as much info as you can, including your country, your phone carrier, whether or not this is a recent problem or if you've never received an sms notification on your phone before... and so on. – mdy, on May 15, 2008 15:23
