Mac Pro Modularity and Upgrades: Is There an Upgrade Path for my Dual G5 Mac Pro?I have a 2006 model Mac Pro that I use as my music recording system. It's a dual g5 2.0 mhz.
My question is, with all the modularity and upgrade ability these machines have, it seems I should be able to upgrade the processing core to an Intel variety with no problems at all. The chassis and major components of the Mac Pro's haven't changed that much.
Is there any upgrade path for these ultra modular and seemingly upgradeable Mac Pros?
I really want to get to an Intel based Mac, but would rather not sell and rebuy. Thanks. @jmacofearth

Should I leave my laptop plugged in while I am at home? All the time? Or should I run the battery down from time to time?Digital Nomad question about maximizing battery life for DELL tech dept. Should I leave my laptop plugged in while I am at home? All the time? Or should I run the battery down from time to time?
So we all have Li batteries now a days, and I know they have no "memory" effect, but I since I am using my Laptop for almost everything and as I travel around the house, should I pull my powersupply along and plug it in. Or should I not worry about it and let it run down and plug it in when it needs to be charged?
Do Li batteries have a set number of times they can be charged and discharged before they die? If so, perhaps I should keep my laptop plugged in until I'm travelling.
I would like a technical answer from the DELL tech department if possible. Less marketing speak and more about what's happening and why one method is better than another.
Thanks in advance from a big fan,

How can DELL regain momentum in the downturn? What should DELL do?The market for computers has become more an more cutthroat. If the entire proposition is about the lowest price, then the big boys loose. What does a large manufacturer have to do to gain momentum? And is it even possible in the current economic environment?
I have some ideas but I would like to hear yours. And I'm sure DELL would as well.

I launched http://www.pettweets.org to promote an animal services non-profit and have raised some money, some awareness and had some fun. There are a lot of animals being "voiced" on twitter. All kinds of animals. Lots of fun to listen to what they are saying. @sockington, @ghostofpeter, @archymehitabel are my favorites. Nice question, thanks! @jmacofearth
