It doesn't find your location using the GPS in your phone, but you do check in with your location (address or business name) via the web or a text message and it will show your location on a map. A comment on the problem "Verizon support?" in Brightkite:

I have no problem logging into the mobile site from my voyager. Have you tried restarting you phone? I've noticed that helps when I get a system error for any mobile website. The other thing that helps is when you log out of the browser function only hit the end key ONCE. If you hit it more than once it causes a "server busy" error on your phone.

All of a sudden, my posts are showing up in the "Universe" stream, but they aren't showing up in the "Me & My Friends" stream. What happened? Can we fix it?

To all my fellow voyager folks out there... as of 10/1/08 Loopt still doesn't support our phone, but as of today Brightkite is working on the Voyager. Check it out at http://brightkite.com. I've got invites available if anybody wants one!

I downloaded bitpim and use it to create my own ringtones and upload them to my phone with my data cable. It's much easier than screwing around with all the "free" ringtone sites that verizon blocks. =) Good Luck. – Jo Michele, on October 01, 2008 20:10

I tested the short code from my voyager & it works beautifully. Now watch Verizon screw it up somehow...
